It looks like it is more or less curtains here - that is unless and until they plan a drill into KON-16 though the wording in today's RNS does seem to infer that a fair amount of work will be needed before this can be drilled which leaves nothing much in the pipeline for now.

RNS out. TO-13 has also failed to flow oil to the surface.

"The operator of Block KON-11, has reported to the block partners that it has suspended well testing operations on TO-13 following inconclusive results. After several weeks of well testing and engineering efforts the well has produced minimal levels of water and oil to date."

Of course, this may mean that the management believes that the JORC Exploration target will have been released by then.

I expect the sellers will dry up soon. Probably just a few holders got the hump over the suspension but in reality there has been positive news since including today and a CPR is now being prepared.

While it doesn't specify any figures, it does add that "Upland intends to conduct a Competent Persons Report (CPR) in the near term." so real figures will be on their way soon.

There seem to be a few sellers around - particularly the 500K one who has had 3 offloads so far - but I'm not sure why they would sell at less than the recent placing price.

Slow going but up 10% now. It looks like most of the buys are being held back by the MM's and will be reported late.

£1.495 to buy now so this could go much higher if the buys start piling in.

I hate it when this happens - great RNS, share price at an all-time low, cash-healthy (that is an assumption without looking into all the details but considering there were 27,683,532 shares in issue on admission in June 2021 and there are only 30,642,000 shares in issue now 3 years later there certainly hasn't been much dilution so whatever is keeping them funded it is not continual placings) and the share price just sits there with virtually no trades at all.

It's massive positive news.

This huge news is just about completely unnoticed so far.

This looks like a very positive RNS to me even though I am not familiar with this share and I certainly bought some on opening. Presentation tomorrow. This appears to be unloved and unnoticed and there isn't much action here as yet though I reckon that might pick up later.

Board Changes

Nostra Terra (AIM: NTOG), the oil & gas exploration and production company with a portfolio of development and production assets in Texas, USA, announces changes to its board of directors with effect from today.

Matt Lofgran, Nostra Terra's long-serving CEO, has stepped down from the role to concentrate on other interests. Matt has led the Company since 2009 and he will continue to provide support to the Company as an advisor for a 6 month transition period.

Paul Welch, currently a non-executive director of the Company, will move to the role of CEO with immediate effect. Paul has extensive experience of working in the Texas oil and gas industry.

No doubt this will take off again soon when everything aligns - with 30p as the next target.

I see there is a massive in-situ value (in excess of $100 Billion) being attributed to another Helium explorer - Georgina Energy - in a competent person's report issued prior to their RTO listing with MMM.

Personally I was hoping that Georgina Energy would have just followed HEX and done their own IPO. I'm not a great fan of RTO's, as they can often lead to an over-priced listing, nor do I see the merits of a Main Market listing when AIM is quite good enough for these low m/cap exploration outfits.

Still such a massive in-ground valuation certainly won't do the prospects here any harm.

No trades though - buys or sells - with only 2 in the last hour. It doesn't make sense.

It's a pity that the enthusiasm for watching this morning's tweet - now a staggering 1280 views - hasn't been matched in share buys. Unfortunately, the market seems to have dried up completely over the last couple of hours. Oh, and another 84 views of the tweet while I have been writing this post. Strange.

Personally, I'm surprised that the share price is still lagging and is even down 2.5% today. I would have thought that it would be pushing up fast into the 20p's and on towards 30p by now. But then I was posting to that effect for several weeks when it was stuck at 10p and it did finally get moving upwards but I feel that it is still short of where it should be at this stage.

That one little tweet, released at 11.56am, has already recorded over 500 views with the number increasing rapidly as I write this post. (It was 466 a few minutes ago when I thought to post and now it is 579).

Considering that Dave Minchin arranged or was part of the team that arranged the HE1 US cross-trade listing it should not be too much of a problem for him to sort out a similar facility here.

It wouldn't surprise me if sometime in the next couple of months the management here arrange some kind of US listing. Just looking back I see that according to the RNS dated 29th April HE1 secured a cross-trade facility and there is obviously even more reason for HEX to do the same.

The relevant RNS at the time from HE1 stated that "the Company's ordinary shares will cross-trade publicly on the US OTCQB Venture Market ("OTCQB")" with Dave Minchin adding "The Company is seeking to encourage the significant interest that our Rukwa project has generated internationally with the commencement of trading of our shares on the OTCBQ. The US has a significant interest in helium as a commodity and we hope that the visibility we gain will further broaden our shareholder base and increase shareholder demand in one of the major helium markets of the world."

The enthusiasm for Helium that saw HE1 valued at £125M around spud time in 2021 is still around. Unfortunately, HE1 drilled 3 duff wells before their success and what with the difficulty of securing a rig to operate in Tanzania not the mention the spiralling costs of operating in that part of Africa which led to numerous placings, much of the initial enthusiasm was lost.

(I calculated recently that HE1 have raised £42.9M so far, most of which was spent getting people and equipment to deepest Africa, not to mention the 3 failed drills).

Maybe that initial enthusiasm and valuation might return. Does anyone fancy £1 a share???
