Wrong. They are always on the platform. When there are no discounts they just say 'Next Day Discounts' or they will give a date 2 or 3 days in advance when the next discounts are available.

Some here may argue about this but this is how it works. Besides if they took themselves off for the day they would miss bookings for tomorrow and the next day, etc.

The market seems to have accepted results that were not very exciting and people are now buying again.

With Boots sales, etc this should easily move back up to around the £2.00 or higher over the coming few months.

I use this website for free though. I hope this one doesn't ever disappear as I wouldn't last a week without it.

This is just one of those vital tools that make the difference between making money on the stock market and losing it.

For years now I've just used Investegate for RNS's, MoneyAM for live prices, trades, etc, and LSE for chat, info, links, etc, and that's all I've ever needed.

Plus my dealing websites - H/L, Interactive Investors (II) and IG.

I used to pay them £12 a month for live prices with no need to refresh.

I have huge watchlists and the info is brilliant - RNS's, % up/down, volume, plus all the live trades instantly, even the charts were quite good. And the website was quite usable on my mobile which is Android.

I've subscribed to Shares Magazine - run by AJ Bell who also owned MoneyAM - but the watchlists are not as good. With Money AM you could select which things you wanted to see ie.trade high, trade low, % spread, cumulative volume, etc, etc but none of those options seem to be available on the new one.

I've tried Level 2 several times before but never really got on with it. All I ever really want is to see the live prices and to know which is really a buy and which a sell and to see the % change live and to have all this on one big watchlist. I've just counted and my current main watchlist has 152 companies all on the one page.

I have live prices from Money AM - though that is sadly ceasing to exist as from tomorrow - and live trades as they go through but it is still sometimes difficult to see which live trade is a buy and which is a sell as they are notoriously incorrect. Getting a live quote solves that.

Still NT to buy on H/L

My buy price is still going up on my H/L - was 3.97p and now NT - and I'm not trying to buy but just getting quotes to see what the real live price is.

You learn something every day.

I always thought that AAOG were operating in the Democratic Republic of the Congo but now from this presentation I find they are actually in the much smaller Republic of the Congo.

This would probably help to explain why the state-owned oil company is struggling to make the drilling payments which I always thought was a bit odd.

25% rise on no news means there is a lot of momentum here so this rise could continue quite a long way.

People buying in on good prospects, no-one really selling much, still below the IPO price - all looks good.

What else is going up anyway? The market is dreadful at the moment. This is a breath of fresh air.

I've never been a snake. I've just said that it was about time the company got a move on and put their brilliant idea into practice and started signing up restaurants.

If the share price is going to rise anyway who cares. Bring it on.

Just needs a couple more 20% plus days and then everyone gets on to it and you get a 50% plus day turn up all of a sudden its 10p.

It all about volume and momentum and being on top of the risers board..............................

I just don't have so much to whinge about these days with this turnaround of the SP.

The momentum is picking up big time even with no news and with the presentation on Saturday I could see this getting to 8p/10p by the weekend. Serious posters are starting to turn up and when they get hold of the story here and start ramping the potential anything can happen.

It's still cheap to buy as it's still below the IPO share price.

As the company don't sound to be in any particular rush to sign up any more restaurants according to the recent SN podcast then I am taking a back seat for a while.

If I remember most of my "ranting" was concerning the sign up - or rather the lack of sign up - of restaurants I am now happy to let them proceed at their own pace. Maybe my holding passing break-even was a factor in my change of mind as I'm no longer staring at a big paper loss.

I responded to monty5662 stupid post a while ago (25th January). For anyone who didn't see it or chose to ignore it I'll repeat it here:

With regards to what I posted recently about the "last minute" approach I now see that tables can be booked up to 14 days in advance on the website which I feel is a good thing. As the discounts are the same there seems little point in leaving a booking to the last minute especially with some options already being "Sold Out".

No. There is no flaw in my argument. If the drill hits oil there will be a great opportunity to buy in in large quantity at a reasonably low shareprice.

I should know I have been following wildcat drills for ten years now - in places all around the world from Georgia to Puntland, Falklands, Namibia, Morrocco, Liberia, Mongolia, Greenland, Poland, Indonesia and many other places but unfortunately not one has been a success - hence my hardened attitude and strict NO HOLD policy which has saved me a fortune and lost me nothing in missed profits.

Very silly posters buy in to a wildcat drill pre-result. Look at MATD recently. One of the biggest wildcat drills of the year - total disaster. Anyone who buys in pre-result is naive and doesn't realise that if the drill hits there is still a great opportunity to get in with plenty of upside and no risk.
