It certainly doesn't mention any plan to test any of the extra zones. Results of wireline in 10 days.

So you "fanatics" honestly think that ASX 'police' know at what stage the drill is or that they had pre-designated stages at which a drill operator has to make stage announcements. Don't be so daft. There is no commitment to announce anything until TD is hit and the logging is completed.

You can argue as much as you want this is a silly way of doing this.

Wildcat successes have been few and far between over the years but I've just checked on a few of them from as far back as Rockhopper in 2010 and in all cases the operator has drilled to TD and then does the wire logging and then announces the results of the drill which will include gross pay, net pay and porosity.

All drills like this should be in lockdown re newsflow during the drilling and there is no way that ASX rules could argue, dispute or change this standard procedure. That's just nonsense. The operators are under no obligation to announce anything before the final drill results.

With TD very close if not reached already then the logging results etc should be known very soon.

Might take a day or two but I expect ASX will tag along tonight to speed this up.

3.5p gets this back on a par with 88E taking pre-RNS share price into consideration.

The share price is still below last Thursday's price so overall the market has gone down on both lots of news.

That is not what one would expect if this drill is a success as the share price last week before Friday was already very low.

Even opening 65% up this is still 50% down from last Thursday.

All very stupid. The operator should have waited until TD and all the logging done and then issued the drill results with either a success and going for testing or not a success and P and A.

MM's don't have a clue where to open this.

A professional approach would have been a lockdown a no news drill until TD, logging, etc and then the drill results could have been announced - success and going to test or unsuccessful and plug and abandon.

This way round everyone is guessing. Friday was a disaster and today is just more confusion.

The drill is hundreds of miles from anywhere in Alaska and thousands of miles from Australia or the UK. They could of just drilled to TD and then done the logging and then released the results.

Begs the question: Are 88E fit to be the operators of this drill.

After Friday's RNS almost writing off the drill - or so the market felt - we get another RNS that seems to have left everybody equally confused. Maybe the operator should hold back on news until they have a better idea of what is actually down the hole.

88E have secured all this acreage but they are based thousands of miles away and they just don't seem to know what they are doing at all.

I wouldn't short a wildcat drill - not that you can as the m/caps are too low - as it would be a total disaster if one hit.

No, I just sit and watch with no shares but ready to buy in if its a hit and with nothing to lose if its a miss. Works well.

The bad luck continues here - Georgia, Puntland - twice, Indonesia and now Alaska. Maybe they should take up looking for gold instead!!!!!!!!!
