I was just going to post here as I have heard a few rumours going around and the addition of Leicester seems to support some of them.

Word is that having recruited the TM's, Sanj is now going to train them one by one, one week at a time. He obviously started last week in the Birmingham territory (which is I believe T4 - West Midlands) and now is in Leicester (T5 - East Midlands). Of course, he will have to see if the T4 manager is up to the job and can sign them up himself after Sanj has moved territories otherwise a week's retrain will be needed. That will become apparent if any more are added in Birmingham this week - or not.

Another theory is that all 12 TM's descended on Birmingham last week and each signed up one restaurant. This week they are all in Leicester, though only 6 have hit their target so far. This will mean possibly more in Leicester this week though at the risk of no new outlets in Birmingham.

A third theory is that none of the TM's even exist and that Sanj went to Birmingham last week, stayed in a hotel, and signed up the 12 restaurants. This week he is in Leicester and has bagged 6 so far. No new restaurants in Birmingham this week will support this theory. This would appear to be the cheapest method of adding new restaurants.

Nothing has been seen or heard of the T1 and T2 (or the 2 T1) managers since early June and the rumour is that the company may be about to put out a missing persons alert to the police. Let's hope we don't just find 2 bodies in a ditch somewhere.

Aidan Bishop is conspicuously absent these days. Word is that he and Boer are just too busy running their highly successful BigDish Asia to waste their time on BigDish UK.

Of course, these rumours may just be fake news.

I now have Leicester on my app. I had to restart my handset. Looks as if the phone is getting a bit old.

I have Leicester on the website but not on the App.

Basingstoke has been on the platform since May you fool.

Some of you who are so easily pleased should take a look at the share price sometime. It's about 3.5p. The IPO price was 4.5p, The last placing price was 7.2p. It is currently less than half that.

Not me personally but quite a few posters here also hold or have held Bidstack - BIDS - which listed about the same time as BigDish (it was actually a month later I believe). The RTO placing at the time of listing was at 6p. The management there just got on with the business and now a year later the share price is around 30p - that's 5 times the starting SP.

To match that sort of progress the share price here would be 22.5p. I can tell you now that I will certainly not be finding fault with the app or anything else when the share price gets to that level. In the meantime the share price is 3.5p.

Some people are far too easily pleased.

The app is very slow. It even has the funny little circles that go round clockwise while the server is trying to keep up with the latest request. I really thought those circles went out with dial up internet. I haven't seen them on an App for ages, and they really are annoying.

Not to worry. This week/ month is all about the nationwide roll-out. Any bugs and app problems like slow speeds and no seats available can be sorted out later. Let's see what the week brings in terms of new locations and restaurants.

Discoeat are already recruiting for Cologne and Dusseldorf and New York, Chicago and Los Angeles (or was it San Francisco). I can't see them stopping off to sign up Bolton or Bury or Bradford or Burnley. I think that part is safe for now.

The BigDish app and website is a bit like going back to the days of dial up internet. It takes forever to load and it's so slow that when you go to a different day to look at the slots you never quite know if it has updated or not. Very poor.

I agree that apps and websites need to be slick and professional these days to attract users.

As we saw from Brighton there was nothing going on behind the scenes. And nothing in Reading or Winchester and no fill in restaurants added in T1 and T2 as promised.

The only thing I am confused about with this company is what the TM's and management are doing because it doesn't look like they are doing anything - (apart from one territory Birmingham).

That is except for Sanj who has had to do absolutely everything all himself including recruiting all around the country, train all these new TM's how to do the job, not to mention making sure the standards are okay. He seems to be overworked while Bishop and Boer and co. do nothing - or nothing useful anyway.

Let's face it these TM's have 100% virgin territories to work. They can go to any town or city within their territory. Every area has super hot places to target.

2 restaurants per day per TM is easily manageable and it could be more. That's 10 per week with 12 territories - you can do your own maths but this looks like a piece of p*ss to me. Can the management here really make a mess of an opportunity like this? We shall see!!!!!!!!!

Yes. Johnno, "the immediate priority is to get more restaurants/territories on the map" - something incidentally that I've been saying here for nearly a year.

Particularly London, which has the potential for 600 restaurants. The only problem is that Discoeat has already signed 89 to their platform and one thing is certain, once a restaurant is signed to Discoeat they will not be leaving to join BigDish. The Discoeat App and website is much better, the photos are better and the sites are clearer and easier to use. They also load up quickly, while both the BigDish app and website take forever to load. This is very poor and likely to put both restaurants and customers off bothering.

Of course this can be remedied too very easily, if there are any management around but unfortunately they seem to have adopted a 'we don't give a damn' attitude of late which isn' t helping much.

Looking at Birmingham today of the 12 restaurants added last week, 2 are shut today, 6 are offering discounts and 4 are open but not offering any discounted slots.

Isn't it a bit early for 40% of the restaurants to be opting out, without even bothering to give it a trial. They are just not interested and there were even more not interested yesterday. I think the figure was 8 out of 12 not offering any discounts on Saturday.

Easy problem to address though. If Discoeat can do it then so can BigDish. Just needs the management here to pay attention and do some work (apart from Sanj who seems to have been left to run the show on his own).

Please pay attention Sauce. This is about Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays - the weekend period. No-one gives a damn about Mondays, etc. Quite a lot of restaurants do not even bother to open on a Monday after the busy weekend period.

Looking at Southampton today there are 18 restaurants on the platform. Of these 3 do not open on Sundays so that leaves 15. Of these 7 are offering discounts today while the other 8, despite being open all day, are not offering any discounted slots. 2 of these look like typical Sunday lunch joints as well.

Big Dish need to address this problem sometime. Discoeat appear to have every single restaurant on their platform offering some kind of a discount for every minute of the days that they are open.

Changes need to be made. They are not far away as BigDish Manilla already offer the full range of discounts between 10% and 50% and also have a 28-day booking window so the company knows what to do.

It's just a pity that not one of the senior management have noticed that the restaurants in the UK would rather miss out on business and offer no discounts than offer discount that are not suitable for the day and time.

I see that 6 of the 12 newly added restaurants in Birmingham are showing 'No seats available - view other dates' which then goes to 'There are no deals available for this restaurant. Please try again in a couple of days'.

Oh dear. This problem is a result of 2 major gaffs - the lack of a proper range of discounts and the short 2-day booking window. Because BigDish only offer the 2 discounts of 25% and 50%, which the restaurants must feel are too high for their busy weekends, the restaurants are not offering any seats at all on Saturdays and Sundays. Then the 2 day window means that BD cannot even offer them the chance to book for next week.

'No seats available' looks very bad and is very amateurish. It makes me wonder if any of the senior management even look at the app/website.

Incidentally Discoeat does not have this problem. All of their restaurants offer discounted slots over the whole weekend. A very, very few, who obviously don't want to offer even a 10% discount, allow bookings but with 0% discount - which obviously still gives a booking fee. Every slot is available for all of their restaurants, though many of the City ones only open Monday to Friday.

This will change after midnight but it has been visible all day.

Oh well, roll on next week.

Will this be the week that sees London, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, etc launched and BigDish finally start to come good?

Apart from T1 and T2 and Birmingham and counting London as 1 there are another 7 territories due to start signing soon.

Sorry, the post says that the eyeballs on the App were the previous day - 11th July - so most probably it was just shareholders looking in disbelief at the App/website wondering where all of the Brighton restaurants were hiding.

This was also the day of Sanj's famous quote:

11th July was the day the share price crashed amid a huge volume of selling - over 39 million shares traded - so maybe there was a spike of traffic to try and find if any more Brighton restaurants had turned up overnight or else to see what damage all the selling carnage may have done.

Website traffic spikes are probably best seen on positive, rising days rather than viewing the after-effects of the previous days sell-off.

Well July 12th was the day after Brighton was finally live on the BG platform. 11

Food hygiene ratings/standards are just one of many issues that need addressing here.

There's no need to keep on about it as the problem was addressed quickly, as was the issue with the fuzzy photos. It is all the other issues which still need some action.

Nothing to get excited about. 1 out of 12 territories up and running and T1 and T2 still not adding either restaurants or locations.

Back to the usual pedestrian pace with the share price still at a sub IPO level and half the price of the last placing. Just shows the lack of progress. Hypergrowth - all talk so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
