In truth there isn't any selling going on here. That is the only thing that is saving the share price from further falls. Everyone seems to be waiting to see how the nationwide rollout progresses before making any decisions.

I keep saying I do not want to be critical of this share as I have far too many shares in this company to feel comfortable but there are things going on here that need improving.

Also I am not giving advice.

I would buy more at this price but I have quite enough already considering my holding is underwater - though not by much and the share price can and will improve if they keep adding new locations.

I suppose they might just as well add more in Brighton and the South and South-East while Birmingham and Leicester seem to be struggling with the 25% and 50% discounts.

Also Manchester, London and Edinburgh are much better-off cities than Birmingham and Leicester and they should be able to manage to offer some evening slots at the static, fixed and bullying discount rates. They don't want to waste their time in places like Newcastle though.

I'm sure the punters will absolutely love pigging out at those sorts of discounts but it doesn't look like the restaurants will even entertain giving their food away.

"Brighton Goes Live on BigDish Platform

BigDish Plc (LON: DISH), a food technology company that operates a yield management platform for restaurants, is pleased to announce today that Brighton has gone live on the BigDish platform.

Further to the announcement on 2 July 2019, the Company believes that Brighton will be a significant location for BigDish. Initially, a select number of restaurants will be available on the platform, and it is expected that the number of restaurants will increase quickly.

I've heard a few rumours passing round and I thought I should share them with my fellow posters here.

Word is that having recruited the TM's, Sanj is now going to train them one by one, one week at a time. He obviously started last week in the Birmingham territory (which is I believe T4 - West Midlands) and now is in Leicester (T5 - East Midlands). Of course, he will have to see if the T4 manager is up to the job and can sign them up himself after Sanj has moved territories otherwise a week's retrain will be needed. That will become apparent if any more are added in Birmingham this week - or not.

Another theory is that all 12 TM's descended on Birmingham last week and each signed up one restaurant. This week they are all in Leicester, though only 6 have hit their target so far. This will mean possibly more in Leicester this week though at the risk of no new outlets in Birmingham.

A third theory is that none of the TM's even exist and that Sanj went to Birmingham last week, stayed in a hotel, and signed up the 12 restaurants. This week he is in Leicester and has bagged 6 so far. No new restaurants in Birmingham this week will support this theory. This would appear to be the cheapest method of adding new restaurants.

Nothing has been seen or heard of the T1 and T2 (or the 2 T1) managers since early June and the rumour is that the company may be about to put out a missing persons alert to the police. Let's hope we don't just find 2 bodies in a ditch somewhere.

Aidan Bishop is conspicuously absent these days. Word is that he and Boer are just too busy running their "highly successful BigDish Asia" to waste their time on BigDish UK.

Of course, these rumours may just be fake news.

I've not seen that before where the restaurants are offering as little as 1 discounted slot over the whole day and are deliberately not offering any discounts from 6pm onwards, let alone the weekends. That will never bring in any revenue for BigDish.

Mono Vita - newby in Leicester - is open daily from 4pm to 11pm. However they are only offering discounts on 5 slots starting at 4pm with the last at 6pm. There are none offered for the busier evenings. My initial reaction to the Midlands is that they are not so keen on offering 25% off the price of their meals (and even less keen on taking 50% off I am sure). Maybe they are a bit lower priced to begin with than the "wealthier" south of England.

Well someone from the management team was reading this board last week when the subject of the bad photos and failed hygiene certificate were brought up and discussed.

The trouble is that they are c*cky, arrogant b*st*rds. They are too full of themselves to address these minor problems. They won't admit they have got it wrong.

Don't think for one minute that I want to be critical of this company as I have far too many shares here to be doing that but some of the things going on here just beggars belief. Just to lose a third of their customers without even bothering to work out why they were leaving was just unbelievable.

The management only have to take a look at their app every weekend to know that something is wrong as a whole load of restaurants don't want to offer any discounts at all. And they can even take a look at the Discoeat platform to see how it should be done.

You have to use your brains to run a successful business. It doesn't just happen. Instead of continuing to sign new restaurants the T1 and T2 managers were sent around to do some account management in June and July which resulted in over one-third - over 50 - restaurants opting to delist from the platform.

One can only assume that this was because the restaurants did not agree with having to offer 50% or 25% off their prices. What is unbelievable is that no feedback appears to have been given to the management so they could address this problem. For goodness sake, BigDish Manilla offers a full range of discounts from 10% upwards and a 28 day booking period. Does Sanj know this - possibly; do Bishop and Boer know this - of course, they introduced it. Instead the management just sat back and let them all just walk away. How poor is that. And maybe they still haven't worked out or even bothered to think about why they delisted. Crazy.

These problems need to be addressed.

Just taken a look at Bottega, one of the newbies in Birmingham. They are offering just one discount slot today and one tomorrow both at 6pm with 25% off. Have they not been explained the concept correctly or do they not agree with the restrictive 2 discounts they are allowed to offer to customers. They are open from 12 noon to 11pm on both days.

Big Dish don't want to go around asking them how they are getting on with the platform in a couple of months time or they'll be straight off.

Eatigo have over 5000 restaurants on their platform and offer a range of discounts from 10% to 50%. Big Dish have not improved on this by offering just the 2 discounts - 25% and 50%. 50% is far to big a discount for quiet times and 25% is far too big a discount for busier times.

I see that most of the Leicester newbies are refusing to offer any seats after 7.00pm. Obviously they think the 25% discount is too high and would rather not offer it.

I just wonder whether anyone in a management position with this company ever look at anything - the app, bookings, revenue, anything at all. They seem blind to what is going on here.

I am particularly interested to see how many more restaurants are added in T4 - West Midlands to include Birmingham - this week. That territory is now up and running.

Yeah, I had noticed that Discoeat is up to 91 now.

It might have made sense for Sanj to train the 3 London TM's first (before Birmingham and Leicester) all together at the same time as that would have been a more efficient use of time. That way there would be 4 territories firing on all cylinders instead of just 2.
