The MM's know what's going on here and they are playing a blinder. If anyone wants to sell they drop the sell price and don't give them very much but they never drop the buy price so when the next buy comes along it is as high or higher than before the sells. It also means they buy them cheap and sell them on for a good profit every time. Very wise.

Telesales is also a remarkably cheap way of getting restaurants onto the platform.

I don't know what they pay them but £25K is probably a good salary for an outbound telesales agent. Times 10 that and for 6 months is only £125,000. Add office costs and computers and phones and it still isn't much.

To add 3000 restaurants through an acquisition would cost tens of millions.

What's more, they could add far more than 3000 if they wanted to - not that I think they will as the directors lack any real ambition - and do it anywhere in Europe or the USA or anywhere else using local language speakers.

We were told when Sanj joined that:

but we were never told how it was done.

I thought at the time that it didn't sound as if it could be done by salesmen calling in person - far too many and in 12 countries with all the different languages - impossible. Maybe that was all done by telesales too.

Anyway, it's too late to change that now, but I am 100% sure that once they have signed up to 3000 restaurants that they will be able to get all of the chains and pub chains onboard using telesales as well. The chains won't need to trial it once there are thousands of restaurants on the platform - they will just stick them straight on.

Well, Big Dish have the funds available for this so they might as well get a move on with it. If the team has signed nearly 3000 in 6 months before then they can do it again. And it will be easier to do it the second time around.

And the shareholders certainly want to this done now to completion as they have had a pretty torrid time here for the last 18 months. Now it's payback time.

You are correct. In fact, I meant to say 280 as it was 259 on the spreadsheet as of Friday and 21 have been added over the last 2 days though there has been the 1 drop off in Bristol so 279 sounds to be correct.

So 21 new restaurants for the week bringing the total to 270. It looks like the share price is now just waiting for the restaurant numbers to catch up. Let's hope these hit 300 by Friday.

50 new restaurants seems a very doable target so the next step will be to ramp that up to around 100 per week - which is the target they will need to be on to get anywhere near getting the total number of restaurants to 3000 in 6 months (and that is excluding December).

It might be wise to use counties - Fife, Cambridgeshire - these are already being used - and Kent, Cornwall, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Norfolk, Essex, etc, etc instead of some of the smaller and less popular towns and small cities that are appearing. Any buddies of Aidan might want to point this out to him.

Obviously search by location will be the key way to search but that isn't much good until the whole country is covered as it could bring up restaurants 50 miles or more away.

No. Livingston, which is near Edinburgh, was added last week. Edinburgh is a major restaurant location and second only to London in the UK.

Still watching for Cardiff and Swansea, Blackpool, Cornwall, Lake District, Belfast, Norfolk and lots of other locations.

21 added for the week and on target for 50 for the week which will be a big jump up from the 30 of last week.

Without being picky Glasgow was at 3 last Friday and I can only see 3 on there today so I believe it is 11 for the day. That is still the best day yet by a margin of 1.

I'm liking the Big Dish App much more these days. There was an upgrade last week which saw the addition of google ratings and the photos are also much quicker and clearer. It looks very professional and will only get better as more restaurants are added.

I would like the Big Dish App and website to go far more in the way of Eatigo. They have a superb website and a brilliant App. Last time I counted they had over 5500 restaurants and the site is absolutely buzzing. Their locations are all split down into groups - ie. locations, themes, cuisines and then sub-groups such as trending, casual dining, pet-friendly, pubs/bars, 50% off all day, etc, etc. and it is absolutely brilliant. The latest feature is "3 people are looking at this restaurant right now" and if you believe that, and there is no reason not to, there are a lot of people using their App.

Compared to Eatigo, the Tastecard App/website is INCREDIBLY BORING and wants to get money from people without showing a single restaurant and the Gourmet Society App/website is also INCREDIBLY BORING.

We should get more restaurants added tomorrow.

I'm hoping to see the number of restaurants added increase dramatically here. There's no reason this should take any longer the second time around and the average over the whole period should be around 100 per week.

To get well ahead, I reckon that once there are around 3000 restaurants on the Big Dish platform then the chains should come on board very quickly. I can't see that the chains will need to trial the platform if it is already buzzing with restaurants and it will probably be possible to sign them up with the telesales team. In 12 months there could be 6000 restaurants on board. 60p share price minimum!!!!!!!!

I think that this is a very clever idea to get these restaurants all signed to the platform through telesales. They can sign restaurants in Inverness and Newquay and anywhere in between all on the same day. Pure genius - and while the personal approach with TM's was very nice and personal and all the rest it is an inefficient way to go about the task.

Phone contracts these days are almost always all-inclusive minutes so a project such as this will not cost anywhere near as much as it would if they are using cars and petrol.
