The way this is rising maybe my much requested info RNS regarding the CPR is on its way!!!

There's no such thing as a Research Note for this company is there? No, of course not!!!

Yes and when PANR slipped back to 20p the m/cap was still £125Million. Previously in the months before it had regularly hit £275M and a few months after the 20p it was at 60p for a m/cap of £375M.

No one would be moaning here if the m/cap was £250M - but it is not. It is about £45M.

Who remembers all of the years of suffering under Matthew Idiems. I was saying for years that they needed to get rid of him. Fortunately he finally went.

I know of several other companies that are suffering from his type of poor management - Sanderson at UKOG and Millholland at COPL being 2 prime examples - and there are many more.

Any idea of what we are going to be seeing in this CPR??????????????????????

Can someone remind me please what sort of resource we are looking at here in the Paradox basin - is this CPR going to be in the millions, hundreds of millions, or more?

I think that PANR have half-decent management whereas COPL do not. The management here is atrocious.

Despite being a shareholder here, and holding far more shares than I am comfortable with and at a rather large paper loss, I will clearly state that the person here with zero credibility is Mr Millholland.

Anyway, if anyone here has a contact email for Tom Winnifrith can you please post it on here. At least he has managed to get a reaction from the BOD, which is one better than the usual total silence.

And the share price here dropped after the very strange way of releasing the annual results, which had all the appearance that the management were trying to hide something from the shareholders, rather than on Mr Winnifrith's exposee.

No CPR news so far. I have not finished with this matter yet. I will be back to Cathy later.

I am also considering getting Tom Winnifrith involved. After all it was very strange to get this discovery RNS completely out of the blue, and with such huge numbers, and with only very poor flow rates, and since then nothing. Without an Independent report the management could be just making it up, or grossly exaggerating the whole find, but nowhere so far has the COPL management made any reference to any such report.

At least Mr Winnifrith seems to get know how to get a reaction and an RNS from the BOD.

Anyway, watch this space. I will get a result here.

ZPHR are clearly showing how this should be done.

In less time than COPL they have made 2 acquisitions in the US and its all going smoothly. It looks like they are heading for $70Million plus annual revenue with just wages and debt repayments due.

Mind you they also used to have an incompetent CEO - Matthew Idioms - but once he was removed things have gone upwards all the way.

Can we get rid of Millholland?????

That's what needs to happen here for sure.

88E might have their dusters and setbacks but at least they are still going for it and do at least keep their shareholders informed as reflected in their latest news.

Similarly ZPHR, who acquired US non operated assets with lots of debt and placings though without the lengthy suspension and need to refinance of this lot, have just reported income of $6Million for March. They also have a CPR due soon and are only too happy to keep their shareholders informed of progress.

The management here are rude, incompetent and quite incapable of keeping shareholders informed about anything. I believe Millholland actually thinks he owns the company and not the shareholders.

Just a quick update continuing on from my posts last evening.

I received a second email reply from Cathy Hume late last night. The gist is that she has sent a note to the COPL management to quote "consider a release on the Ryder Scott project with estimated release timelines".

She also reiterated that she considers that this matter can be resolved by Investor Relations (herself) and COPL management and repeated that there would be no need for me to take this further to the BOD's. Hopefully this means that this will be sorted imminently. If not, then I still have this further option available.

That was the gist of the last paragraph of my first email to Cathy Hulme.

"Rather than correspond directly with the management this is I feel a matter that should be dealt with by CHF Capital Markets in their role as Investor Relations for Canadian Overseas though if this information is not forthcoming in the near future then I will probably be forced to correspond directly with the management of the company."

A slight threat which she noted in her reply when she said that there was no need to go to the board of directors for things like this and I agree with her. This is what Investor Relations are for.

At the end of the day I just want shareholders to be informed that there is a CPR underway and an approximate release date.

Anyone who knows the oil and gas industry knows that independent resource estimates are a big deal and can be transformational for the share price in the short to medium term.

CPR's are big deals. They are an independent resource estimate. COPL are being disrespectful not giving details about this to shareholders.

As I pointed out in my reply to Cathy Hulme "Most companies are usually quite excited about having an independent resource estimate and are only too keen to give out a proposed release date. From experience, such communications create huge shareholder interest and can be transformational for the share price. This is something that is much needed here, especially after the recent confusion and Market Clarification RNS."

Watch this space. I think that we may get a result here. Let's hope anyway.

Just to keep you informed I have already had a very prompt response to my first email to Cathy Hulme which is in itself very impressive.

I will not post it here or even go into the details though suffice it to say that I have replied and repeated my request for her to speak to COPL management to ask them to make an official announcement that a CPR has been commissioned and is underway and in view of her earlier email to Sageman to request that they commit to a timeline for its receipt and release.

Anything on here is in the public domain and can be repeated - especially to the person "claimed"to have sent it. That way any problems/deceit/false claims will also be flushed out.

Besides Cathy Hulme has no right to pass information privately to shareholders by email unless that information is already in the public domain.

They are not in demand or the share price would be 50p or 60p or 90p or £1 or even £2 - and then I will gladly sell up thanks.

The only yawn here is the bl**dy share price - in case you haven't checked recently it's 25p.

The hedging issue needs sorting out. The difference between the hedge amount and the current barrel price has to be going somewhere. COPL cannot be just giving huge chunks of extra cash to the lenders. It needs to be reset or a chunk passed back to COPL.

All companies that are in production right now of oil or gas are getting record-high revenues - and COPL need to be doing the same.
