Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
To be writes "Your right l will be out tomorrow at any price l have been here a long time averaging down etc but it’s going to be a lot lower for a longtime ".
You made a decision, as we all do, but don't start digging at others because of your own choices. There is some great discussion and thoughts going on here at present. Pop across to TLW.
Fernan10, that's a decent bit of analysis. Just to be clear, you are using parenthesis, as per accounting, to denote a negative ...i.e. fee cash flow = -$202m. If so, that's not a million miles away from what rpoodle gleaned from IR of -$150m and would also remove my question re ambiguity.
Cheers and thanks for some decent work (appreciate your calcs only)
rpoodle, firstly many thanks for taking the time and posting - appreciated.
Now, to the salient point, is that $150m outflow or $465m + $150 'outflow' ?!!
Cheers, Hunter.
Any reason for the PMO Board post in particular?
32.56 .... yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
Oh beggar, wrong tab :-( :-(.
Well, have to somehow smile ... I have too many tears not to.
Right, soon time for BoJo to give my lad some time off school (he'll be begging to go back after a couple of days of daddy and mummy home ed lol). Catch everyone later and best of luck.
EC, we have absolutely no idea what ARCMs short position (or their current bond position) is, merely what they stated at some point!! That's what gives them the control and power :-(
Just to add, I have that too on my laptop (website rather than an app). Very good IMHO and live prices.
...at last. An absolutely tiny amount, but thought may be 10% (up!!!) at some point! Who knows?!!
Must have been a blinking small slice !!
I'll try again in a bit. Strange how the PI is always locked out from buying!!
Hi Plebleens, I meant closed (some) previously, to then re-open more and collapse the price (more). With the recent volumes, they could have 'hidden' a lot, not impacted on the price, collected some nice money, and have started again. Would explain the weakness over and above. They won't declare either way.
ATB.
They don't give a t*ss about the FCA. The FCA have had loads of time, and Emails, and have done nothing.
Cash, come on ... ARCM don't declare for 2 years!!!
...and how SK, how. If they succeed and collapse the Company, does that mean (as I was musing earlier) that they get to sell the assets (receive the proceeds) as they hold the debt?
Cash, really, this is all theory for me at this stage. I expect Andy will give his view later on the other Board ... all I need to do is work out the 'genuine' elements and those which have other intents!! Like him or loathe him, he can a have a fab knowledge .. he knows that, so can twist it and play when he fancies doing so.
With the way this is going, I have just a feeling that ARCM did close some shorts and are now applying a new set of short pressure - quite why, I am not sure yet.
Bridge, I too think PMO will more than survive BUT who gets the lion's share .. may not be the ordinary shareholder and I think that's what the risk may be here.
Mala, that's the part that I can't understand. The bond drop must have hurt ARCM despite the short and, if PMO did go, what happens? I think that the assets may well be split up between the debt holders and that's their gain / recovery. As I said, if so, it's sick!!!
Umm, not sure myself. I will probably keep away from oil in the future though as, despite the huge potential, I could do with a quieter life!!
Cash, please explain why ..."unsustainable" only if oil stays low for a substantial time IMHO.
Yes, DBNO had that problem a few years ago when selling. Gosh, funny what one remembers lol.
