It's not the (potential) RI which is holding PMO down at present, it is the prospect of there not being one ... i.e. a placement only for the IIs. A full RI with little or no placement element would, in my view, see this much higher. The other element in the mix at present is what will be offered to the creditors; until the end of the month, we are unlikely to know.
It's still a hold for me, but sometimes PMO is a painful beast!!!

"I would say CashFerret has been bang on so far.."
Funky, it is not the view(s) of Ferret that wind people up, it is the constant posting and re-posting of the same, the positioning posts et al. The same is true of DBNO (albeit the Ferret actually posts more than a sentence or "be careful"; I don't knock him / her on that part).
Ferret is also keen to flag his boat owning status, the fact that he is a CEO, the 16% he made on his short ... all of those are totally irrelevant (even if true) and, whichever way one looks at it, do nothing for his cause or credibility.
We all need differences of opinions, that much is healthy; constant de-ramping, or ramping for that matter, is akin to 'mine is bigger than yours' and/ or 'I need a ego boost'.
Personally speaking, I can't stand shorters either, but ... lol !!
Good luck whoever you take note of or whatever path you choose.
Oh deary me, I really have hit that nerve again. We all are here to try and make a profit Ferret, just most of us don't post multiple times a day stating the same thing; it's monotonous. It is good to see, however, that the business of which you are CEO is able to run so well without you ...perhaps that is why it is able to run??!!
By the way, don't spend that £1.60 you made on your short all at once will you - you have to save for your new boat!!!
Ferret, yet again I hit a nerve with you ... I am genuinely beginning to wonder if your investments are as fictitious as you being a CEO. LMAO
Ferret, if you are here "solely to make money", then why do you keep telling everyone whether you are short or long? Your money will be made, or otherwise, without passing that information on to others. ...or is it that, like DBNO, you feel the need to be proved right / I told you so?!!
DBNO still focusing on a share which he doesn't own rather than his own loss making TED !!!
TED !!!!
Concentrate on your own stuff DBNO ...over 4% down now!
TED
GS probably held many of the shares of the ARCM short position and have now sold those in my view.
Down, for someone that doesn't own a single share in PMO, you have to be one sad individual to track the transactions going through. I would say that you need to get a life, but I fear that you may well be beyond that now.
Firstly, thanks for the link, however (as most in fairness), the title is the 'click-bait' and the actual article gives a more balanced view / a difference of opinions.
"According to the report, the oil tanker issue crowding China’s seas is not, however, because mainland storage is already at capacity, but simply because they can’t get it there fast enough. ClipperData’s Smith said that onshore storage could still take on a lot more crude, and that the current issue is “simply related to terminal congestion. They've got so much coming in that they can't bring it onshore quickly enough."
All I shall add is that no-one understands China in many, many ways (from an oil perspective we'd be using their data not the Yanks if we did!!). Also worth baring in mind, as we have seen from their ability to build hospitals, if they need more of something, they have the ability to do so extremely quickly - from ground up or ground down!
"...now their storage almost at capacity.."
No need to shout at you Ferret, just attach the relevant link; will be quite interesting that you know that information for a Country such as China!!
Get a life - honestly!!!
I am not expecting a bid, however I do have a feeling that either the RI price is out or / and the IIs are forcing the price down to grab as many shares as possible ahead of the same. The other possibility is that the SP is forced low so there is little chance of a RI and the IIs get to play (via a placement) and we don't!!
Whilst all of the above may be complete b*llock$, I'm pretty sure, after being held around the 50 mark for weeks, that something is afoot. Time will out as ever. Personally, still holding - rightly or wrongly!
Kilgeever, please tell what the Hopkins data is based on? .... those tested and those which have died. In each Country, there are massive disparities / abilities in both areas. If I need to explain more, then ... !!
Kilgeever, I hardly think he was saying that. How about the hundreds of millions which could starve to death through poverty .. does that not concern you?!!
With regard a vaccine, you do realise that flu still kills between 250k and 1 million per year, even with a vaccine. The vaccine which needs to be changed each year is only between 12-60% effective. The only infectious disease which we have eradicated is smallpox.
Take a look at New York, a heck of a lot got it and now they are moving forward where the other states aren't. It is a horrible virus and deadly for some and that I don't deny, but the Hopkins data needs to be removed as far as I am concerned ...it's worse than a very bad guess!!!
Down, hospital cases in the UK are about 100k.... as an estimated 5% would ever need hospital (let alone care homes and people that never made it), that's 2 million alone who have had it / have it in this Country alone. Hopkins data is useless, it really is. Roll out the antibody test nationwide!!
Hopkins data is just meaningless ...it is a fraction of a percentage of the likely real figure. An article written a while ago now in the WSJ believed the true figure could be 50-85 times greater. I am pretty certain that my wife and child had it in February, but without access to the antibody test, we will probably never know.
