Something to cheer you up, two of PMO non-exec are ex BP board members, who are well aware of Charlie’s potential, so much so PMO’s board have sanctioned a 60 well field development plan already. This was prior to the announcement of JV.

Macd, if you would indulge me with your thoughts on pressure in Heron -1. Can today’s comments from Mike Duke about testing the natural flow first elevate my biggest worry here about pressure in the well. I never like reading about a pump being used as I have on this board in the past.

Ojay, absolutely agree, the fact that production in 2019 is even being mentioned shows Mike Buck is looking at all eventualities, as he should be. However, broadcasting those thoughts are a different matter. What Mike Buck said today was revealing on how forward planning may change and we are in quite a fluid situation, which is a positive for me personally when you take into account all the other info released such a better than expected porosity/ permeability and today’s good reservoir zones and possibility of natural flow comments being the highlights,, IMVHO

Gunner1, I got the impression from the interview that Mike Buck was reevaluating his options between production in2019, meaning Delaying Velociraptor till 2020 due to money constraints and oncoming winter..... Just my opinion, and like all opinions not true or false just an opinion lol

SYDFreshprince, I am pointing out “good reservoir zones” which is new information.
I dare only to speculate that we MAY BE on the sweet spot
They will have all the data at hand to show that this may flow naturally, although they may still stimulate as it’s quite common practice, we have increased our CoS .. AIMHO

From interview 2:41 in and talking about flow test process they are going to first test, and I quote, “whether these good reservoir zones flow nicely without stimulation”
I will let you all think on that for a bit.. lol

Russukatian, don’t fall for dusterhater posts. Been in a few boards where he was posting, going back to TRP.
His MO is always the same, thinking of buying but, then subtlety knocks every aspect of the asset, company and trades.
Completely worth ignoring, IMHO, I think he gets a kick when a duster is announced to say he was right, which isn’t a skill in oil exploration, as the odds are always in his favour.

The results of the Heron-1 well are encouraging. Along with the well and wireline logging data being consistent with our pre-drill prognosis, .. all in line with expectations imho

I am encouraged by Mike Buck’s comments, the emphasis on porosity and permeability is a real positive when it comes to testing the well. The fact he referred to this twice in the RNS is, IMHO, significant.

From the RNS - exhibiting better porosity and permeability characteristics than is generally seen within the Lower Tsagaantsav at this depth including in the nearby wells in the T19-46 oil field in Block XIX.

Better than T19-46 oil field, that’s field not one well !!

The line from the RNS that does it for me. ‘the gross reservoir interval in Heron-1 appears to be very similar to the productive reservoirs found in oil wells immediately to the north in Block XIX.’ # productive reservoirs

Always a trade of between rights and cash, all depends on confidence in the asset eh?

The drop today is nothing new, you have all seen it before when news comes that a drill will mean months of waiting,
The same sellers today will be buyers come January/ February.

The excitement for me isn’t your partners or the deal. Given the hard times the industry has faced getting a deal which retains 30% is excellent ,if you produce in commercial volumes,. The excitement is the asset . knowing the oil is there, BP proved that already. Around 270ft of it.

Keep in mind what I have said previously as it has been sanctioned!

Charlie-1 is an appraisal well, on main target, so higher chance of success, forward planning already ongoing post drill.

Already working in 60 well Field development Plan.
