RE: Let them have their fun……22 Aug 2023 09:43
There's a long Kenyan parliamentary recess from Friday 25th August to Monday 18th September 2023, so we're either going to get news by Friday or have to wait till the second half of September. As you say, the higher it goes before news officially breaks the better...... good news or bad.
I still can't get my head around why Pictet hasn't reduced though. They've seen this go to 9p and up to 66p, then all the way back down to 21p and still haven't cut their losses, taken profit or reduced. In fact they started increasing their short from 1.28% around 31st May and have increased it all the way to 2.08% around 19th of June at a share price ranging from 25 to 27p. Are they just desperate or do they just not care as it's their clients money, or perhaps they just hold for the next global market shock when oil tanks .... whenever that may be. I get that I did the same thing by holding from 66p down to 21p, but I'm just a clueless PI who is basically gambling on a nice payday if the stars align ..... aren't they supposed to be experts and protect their capital???
