Trying to make sense of tonight’s news, is it possible SD has negotiated something behind the scenes to encourage NCM not to take up the 5%.
SD did mention something about possibly amending the JV by including Scally or similar.
Probably clutching at straws but makes no sense NCM not to taking the 5%.

I would imagine SD has planned for all scenarios and will possibly borrow what’s needed from the banks and pay off NCM

Yet they didn’t agree to us buying the 5% off them. How to they spin that to the shareholders if it could have made a profit.

Apologies Bamps, probably sounded a little harsh. It’s just the frustration bubbling to the surface. With all the positive news I would hope we start moving up the curve soon.

In regard to the 40,000 growth drilling up to end of June, will it increase the resource or is it more about finding/probing for the edge of the ore body, assuming the drill spacing still needs to be 50m as per JORC to meet requirements in order to be able to increase the ore body calculations

It’s starting to grate when people say don’t expect too much. If you truly don’t believe NCM are playing games then why would they not be shouting from the rooftops, particularly now the 5% is sorted.

MFU, I like a nice round number, 10m oz will do just fine.
Looking at NCM’s share price it looks like they could do with some good news to keep those pesky shareholders on side.

Timber, I agree we should expect to be underwhelmed based on passed experience.
That said it would be nice if we could get to 8M oz AuEq based on the 40,000m of targeted drilling up to end June 22 that they announced earlier. Not too much to ask seeing as we’ve done 6 months more drilling since our MRE was calculated and factoring in that GGP increased the MRE to 50% more based on 10 months extra results.

I know it’s a pretty simplistic view, but wouldn’t serious questions need to be asked if NCM’s update doesn’t at least match ours.

Come on guys, let’s stay positive for tonight rather than bickering.

Assuming the upgraded MRE does materialise on Friday, also adding share price suppression coupled with rising shorts into the mix, could now be the time NCM make a move?
