I think many have changed their targets based on the onslaught over the last year, myself included. Having bought more since we dropped below 20p down to 8p I would definitely consider selling these positions on the way up, just to release some profit. However I would be disappointed if I didn’t get past the previous high for my main holding.
That said, I would like to keep a sizeable chunk for future divi’s in the coming years.

Having been on the phone to ii they have told me that the system will indeed let you vote multiple times and the last vote will be the one that will count just in case you’ve changed your mind.

Thanks for the reply’s, if you click on the link again it says you haven’t voted and allows you to enter choices even though I did it last week.

There is a serious discrepancy as I voted last week and it’s allowed me to vote again and now says I’ve voted. Anyone with ii try clicking the vote link again and see what it says

Anybody with ii, I’ve just checked my voting mailbox which said I’d voted, yet when clicking on the link it says I haven’t voted.
I have also had a conflicting message saying that for aim shares they have to do it manually and I have to do it by email.

Thanks again Bellers, I’d be happy with that. I just want some confirmation that they have received and are acting on it rather than silence. Makes you question what some brokers have to gain from making it so difficult, not to mention time consuming for staff.

To think we pay them for this kind of service, certainly don’t make it easy.

I’ve just complained to HL about their voting policy. Has anyone had any confirmation from them after voting. Very concerning behaviour especially considering they don’t even choose to inform customers that a vote is taking place.
Hardly good customer practice!

At a guess I would say Wyloo may prefer a controlling stake rather than a full takeover.

If NCM were to bid it would have to be realistic to stand any chance. Thanks to SD and team a low bid has been kicked into the long grass.

Hi Speedy, the only other possible reason is if they expect the funding to fail, which is even less likely than a bid from NCM. Nobody in their right mind would block the funding, so what are we missing.
The only logical course is that the shorts close this week, but then what do I know.

Very unlikely, however everyone thought they’d take the 5%.
It all comes down to reputation, being seen to bully a junior JV partner and losing or seen as idiots for being outclassed by a junior and letting 30% of a multi decade mine slip through their fingers.
If NCM chose they could easily speculate the true size to justify any move.
However unrealistic there has to be some reason the short is still going on.

Ironically CP is probably telling the truth about the prospects of a successful IPO given recent developments. However all the bull over the years has come back to haunt him, the boy who cried wolf springs to mind.
Any good faith was used up years ago as far as I’m concerned. It’s an embarrassment to myself that I got sucked in all those years ago.

It’s difficult to see why a Pi would sell at these low levels, especially considering the risk attached to the investment has diminished massively over the last few months. Granted there will always be a few, but we are so close to the FS, I can’t imagine they can be blamed for the dropping share price, which leaves manipulation to be the most logical reason.

Further to that, where have I said I don’t trust SD.
The same cannot be said for my view of SB, perhaps some have confused themselves between SD and SB

Bamps, your and Red are the ones that refuse to accept anyones else’s view on the resolutions. At no stage have I ever told anyone how to vote, in fact I’ve suggested people make up their own minds. Both of you are twisting things using cohesive posting, suggesting SD could walk if you don’t vote for resolutions and you using a parallel of beginning of the end for another company.

How many times do I have to repeat I have no issue with the present deal for funding to production yet you both consider me a bad guy. You just refuse to let me have a point of view different to your own. I haven’t once criticised your view, nor would I, yet you keep suggesting I should sell up and accusing me of trying to influence the undecided. Have you actually read any of my recent posts?
What about your statement. “ Voting against and then coming back for a further AGM is a nonsense.” Yet the company did it the other year with no problems.

Perhaps both you and Red should filter me for the sake of yourselves and the chat board.

MrEMC2, SD has proved that he’s very forward thinking in considering all angles and credit where credit is due, not many CEO’s put that much effort in to please awkward Pi’s.

Institutions with bigger holdings would make his job so much easier as require less pandering.
My own personal view is that he probably reads this board from time to time and seeks to allay any fears/concerns. He seems to like LSE given his interviews, so it’s reasonable to suspect he’s putting the effort to get all resolutions passed. Happy to be wrong though on the purpose of his visit, he does have form for surprises.

Bamps, you can’t really be serious in saying if I don’t vote for 3,4,5 it could be the end?
At the most it would be a couple of weeks to explain and ask again.
I’ve never said I would block the company from anything other than the authority to issue equity with me having no say. You cannot invest on blind faith alone.
I have said on numerous times I have no problem with the latest dilution for the funding, but no further dilution unless I get to decide based on information.
How about you respecting my opinion and leave at that without the suggestion I sell up.

A pushback every now and again serves to remind any CEO not to take everything for granted.
I’m sure SD will answer queries that any undecided have.

Red, think you will find you are the one that constantly argue and picks at what I say and this is the first time I’ve ever pulled you up, that’s your prerogative and I respect that we have differing opinions.
I personally don’t see any issue with holding back a vote on allowing a company to dilute my investment, especially when the company says it doesn’t intend to use it. It’s bull**** to insinuate that I don’t trust SD as I wouldn’t agree that sort of resolution with any CEO or company. Your post last night was clearly meant to influence voters especially with your reference to Shaun potentially leaving. Pure speculation on your part!

Why don’t you leave people to decide for themselves, I reiterate that I haven’t heard anyone say they don’t support resolutions 1,2, which unless I’m wrong, saying no to 3,4,5 doesn’t prevent the funding going through. I have no issue with how anyone votes as it’s personal but you clearly do.
Using your scenario, what if SD left for a new job and someone came in with different ideas that nobody liked. You will have given them permission to issue more equity and couldn’t do anything about it.
However unlikely a situation is doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be considered.
IMHO
