Couldn’t agree more Sanibel. The country is in a right mess with no shining light on the horizon. It would be a good start if both main party’s would stop fighting each other and talk about how to get out of the mess. So sick of playground politics!
Don’t know what’s worse, politics hitting new lows or our share price. Wonder which one will turn around first. Lol

Sadly both party’s are in a mess and have upset their core voters which leaves us in a worse position still, a future hung parliament.
The country is crying out for a new party or at the very least new blood and sweep away the dross we currently have (on both sides)

Tom, technically anything over 100k shareholding would be taxed, so all divi that comes in over that threshold would be taxed. Nothing seems to be mentioned about anyone who already has savings over the 100k limit so can’t see them attacking existing savings, which is why I would expect them to close ISA’s. Otherwise it would be a complete nightmare for all sides trying to work that out. It Could all be bull but no doubt changes are coming and we are a prime target for new taxes.

Forgot to mention the premise behind this is that the Gov is losing too much tax revenue with these tax free wrappers. Think I also read somewhere that another option would be to limit mid earners to a lower yearly Isa allowance.

Tom, It’s only rumours at present, but could well be leaked narrative by Gov testing public opinion. The suggestion is taxing anything over 100k in ISA’s. However the only way I could see this happening would be to close ISA’s to new investment and start a fresh with a new Tax efficient savings with lower tax free thresholds. Otherwise people such as yourself would be penalised and would be a vote loser.

Thanks Ben, It’s worrying to say the least, especially considering divi allowance is dropping next year outside of ISA’s. Making it as difficult as possible to squirrel the money away. Glad all my GGP nuggets are safely tucked away in ISA’s and SIPP’s

Hi Ben, from what I’ve seen the rumour is putting a 100k limit on ISA’s, and that’s potentially the Cons, the big worry would be Lab targeting pension lump sums. Both parties seem to resent the middle having cash and as such is seen as a target in future.

Its also worth considering that our new board members may have advised SD to change tack now there all on board and try to get the JV relationship closer now the bully is going. I’m guessing his relationship will have to change going forward as he can’t keep pandering to Pi’s. After all we’re hard bunch to please.

I agree it’s unlikely based on what we know, yet can’t be ruled out however, since it’s what we don’t know that’s the issue.
As we have been told regularly by the more knowledgeable peeps on this board how big Hav is, then it’s perfectly reasonable to think a bargain hunter may well make a move whilst we are at this level. Add to that all the blatant manipulation going on.

DH, I can assure you this Lth isn’t happy about the current price and I don’t really believe anyone who says otherwise apart from the late comers who have the chance to average down.
As we know the whole point of investing is that it grows over time, but up to now it’s gone backwards without a single piece of bad news. Therefore it’s only natural we are getting restless. Excluding the troublemakers I wouldn’t complain about such feelings coming to the surface as it provides some balance to what’s becoming a one sided argument, especially with all the threats of the green bin for anyone who doesn’t toe the line.

I certainly don’t blame SD and team for the share price as he is doing his job and building the company, although the pushing back of the milestones doesn’t help, but again GGP aren’t in control as bandit says. All that said we are vulnerable to a takeover at these prices, like it or not!

Rup, totally agree, ain’t waited all these years to hand over the big gains to someone else. Knowing how my luck goes if I sold it would rocket the very next day.
I share everyone’s frustration and hope the tide will change soon.

LA, In my opinion the share price isn't being allowed to do what it does as that implies ebb and flow (ie natural movement) I believe someone is controlling it for some reason. All the positive news that’s gone before and the price has gone backwards. Even when it does rise briefly it’s knocked back down in a few days. Securing the funding should have been a game changer so my only conclusion is that they want us out and any delay will prolong the pain.

Good point Peter, my better half is on borrowed time and I would like for her to see something before that time comes. We’ve been in this share for years now in various accounts and although we are many multiples from where we bought it’s far from the life changing amount many of us hope it will be one day.
I have to agree with Bamps though, an updated resource would probably be met with a further drop, at least until the FS/DTM come out.

Hi Bamps, I’m not referring to the drill results, but I’m concerned further delay in resource upgrade will result will effect the share price. As you point out NCM is doing it’s own thing and unlikely to change therefore we should be doing ours. All the positive drill results we see need to be converted to the resource to show potential investors that the ore body is growing. Not everyone understands results as you do, but nobody can deny the facts of a headline recourse upgrade.

Disappointed by that interview if I’m honest. Seems the resource upgrade is being pushed back again as people had already guessed. NCM have no interest in helping us, so for that reason we should be doing our own resource again as delays will only result in further attacks on the share price.

Didn’t SD indicate in a Q&A session that he thought the FS would come out in the middle of this year.

Don’t forget the Xmas holidays may have impacted the decline rate, so theoretically they could be going faster, assuming they didn’t work right through.
