Hi all,
We know there’s another placing coming before year end, I can’t say that I’m surprised either as we knew the last one was only going to keep us going till around March 2023.
My thoughts are that we will have a smaller placing than the last one, or no higher anyway. The logic is simple, no need for a higher share dilution if we are getting closer to a sale or farm in.
We can all speculate all day and night about what might happen and when, but it’s all best guesses as we are told practically f all by the board snd just left to our own devices.
On a side note, i really cannot see why Happy is getting flak for his posts, unless I’ve missed something, he is simply stating facts, neither ramping or deramping.
I’ve been here for years with a lump of dollar sitting in the lit, it that doesn’t mean I want to be told everything is golden and the board are doubt a great job etc, their a f’ing joke and should all be sacked on the spot.
But we do have a nice asset and nothing changes that.
Hi Stepps, still hanging in there.
We pretty much got what I expected in todays update, nice to see comments about the increase in interest from potential partners so that’s encouraging and I think we can see that in todays share activity.
Noting much given away though so no surprises there either.
I’m happy to keep holding.

LTT,
I can see how you would question a £1 share price, but I feel that’s based on the ridiculously low price that BOR has dropped down to, from our £1.30 high 10 years ago, and that was just based on the rumour we had found oil.
At £100 dollars a barrel we have a $50 billion asset, I think 1 or 2 billion to set it all up is a great cost benefit analysis for any venture.
Add to this the significant issue of dwindling oil fields and not enough new ones to bring online and you have a goldmine just waiting to be tapped.
I genuinely believe that £1 a share is still highway robbery, but at least it’s gets us closer to the level we should be at.
I would definitely sell some of my holding at that price.
I’ve not held and waited 10 years for ****s and giggles.
If you sell at 10p I’ll be glad if it’s a win for you. Then someone else will take the shares and so it continues.

There’s no way I’m selling my 3 million shares at 17p per share.
If anyone values half a billion barrels of gas condensate at £102M they must need their head examined.
I’ve previously said that £1 a share would be taking the p1ss, but that would at least get my attention.
POC, literally everything you said there is utter gash. You sound like a bitter wee fool that thinks England keeps Scotland going and we have nothing to offer.
Your crap about the oil and gas being mostly in England’s waters is laughable, you’d have been better off going with Scotland being excluded from the falklands assets if we get our independence, that would at least be a logical point, even though they can ram the assets right up Westminsters ring piece, we don’t need it.
If you’ve lived here you’ll know the value that the snp deliver with literally everyone in Scotland benefitting from them running the country.
You mention the snp going on about independence, you should look up what the snp stands for, there’s a huge clue in the name !!!
It looks like you’d far prefer Boris and his tories over Nicola and the snp. Good luck to you, you’ll need a **** load of it.
Pic, what experience do you have of living in Scotland and do you believe the tories are doing a better job of governing than the SNP?
Regarding the economics of Scottish independence we would be one if the richest countries in the world so what are you basing your half witted and completely ignorant view on ?
Hi Gus,
Liz is a halfitted disaster in the making. However she could certainly be a great flag waver for the Falkland’s and help get production moving.
So a bit of a mixed bag, but up here in Scotland I hope we don’t need to worry about her, or any other Westminster leader, for much longer.
Superritch, what is more than tub thumping ?
Are you suggesting the argies don’t use the Falkland’s as apolitical or economic distraction ?
1982 was the falklands war but there was a lot less than 900 brittish casualties, so what is your point ?
Read this and then apply everything that was said to historical tub thumping over the Falkland Islands.
The Argentine government should remember these words next time they try to use the Falklands as a political diversion.

I’ll take a straight up sale all day long. Give us £1 per share and everyone leaves the party smiling.
In truth, the buyer wins the larger prize, without any doubt.
I see £600m as quite simply getting the deal done, and I’m happy with that.
If they want my .5% of the company they know the bill.
You could see that com8ng POC. All it does is highlight the desperate need for secure energy supply chains. Russia have well and truly screwed the pooch and inadvertently opened up the Falklands as a safe and secure supplier of oil and gas.
Hi POC, that’s definitely possible.
Or the board are current negotiating with a buyer or buyers and they are accumulating as many shares as possible on the cheap while not blowing the price up as that would strengthen our position at the table.
Anything is possible and I feel quite sure we will find out soon.
Hi Gus, I think we have new players at the table. If it was Calgary I expect we’d know by now. Or so I’d imagine.
I actually prefer new investors joining us at the daddy table with several million shares per chair. Look at the late buys from yesterday, that’s £60k spent by the same person for a million shares.
You can bet they are here for the prize and not a small rise.
I also double as a poet lol
You either love it or hate it, but whatever your view this stock has more moves than a bag full of weasels.
As an investor, nothing has changed so they can play all the games that they want, I’m here for a lot more than 5p.

Happy, the appraisal well is a box ticking exercise, we covered this on our forum many moons ago. I believe the plan would be to combine the appraisal well with the actual development of Darwin and sell the GC that we extract.
The more cost effective development plan is also being revised, as noted in the final results RNS.
As for RKH, good luck to them, they got a nice result with the £150m, but they don’t have the cash yet. They also don’t have our gas condensate and this is a greater prize than the thick black stuff, so there’s no practical comparison between BOR and RKH, other than the Falkland Islands.
I hope everyone down there does well, but my focus is on BOR.
Hi guys,
We all have an opinion on our company value and my own view is that any takeover would need to be at least £600m, or £1 per share.
There’s no way BOR is being sold for anything close to £200m, I wouldn’t even call that a starting bid.
Our BOD have not held on for a bargain to be given away, not a chance.
My opinion of course, let’s see what happens.
