I disagree that we would be sold for 12p as that’s a joke compared to the value of Darwin alone, not to mention the rest of our acreage and the 3D modelling!!

If we get a partner signed up in the next 12 months this will blow past 12p, I am certain of that !!

I’d expect a 70/30 split with our partner paying for the pleasure to join in. That would also explain why cash is only required till the end of next year. As per your previous comment the sp would blow up on news of a partner so that would keep the lights on until we went to production.

I think 15p - 20p on signing a deal with those terms. And god knows how much once we got closer to first oil.

I’m curious about our recent fund raise and something that Harry mentioned in his statement.

Short version is that we only have money till the end of 2025 as the expectation is that a deal will be done by then. This is great news !!!

So let’s suppose a deal is done next year, do you agree that it would need to involve a cash payment and if so how much ?

Logically we will still need cash in the bank well beyond next year, at least until we start production and earning some proper dollar.

This has been going round and round in my head.

Any thoughts ?

I agree Navitas are certainly a contender for our farm in, it makes sense for them to add the south to their portfolio, especially given our light sweet crude oil which is now in high demand as a transition fuel and required by ships etc.

Although I don’t like the thought of an Israeli company having anything to do with us, I’d rather wait another 5 years !!!

As long as Harry gets a good deal and doesn’t let them screw us for the sake of a “quick” deal. What we have has incredible value and should be valued as such.

Regarding FIG approval for a takeover, is that even required ?

I can’t see how they could black ball a takeover as long as the licenses are in place and the going concerns are met.

As for value I still think 20p minimum would be the starting point for any buy out, even that is a ridiculously low ball offer.

Hi Longs, I’ve seen quite a bit of speculation about us going private. I don’t think this is likely, but anything is possible.

I have to say that going private is better than never ending doledrums and 13 f’ing years of inaction and price drops.

I’ve said it several times now, if we were to be bought out I’d still expect us to be for a lot more than our current sp, there is no chance our top 10 holders will let this go for 2p per share. The very notion is comical.

But, would they sell for 20p per share, I think they might.

Thoughts on a a postcard, assuming a buy out is on the cards. Hypothetical or otherwise.

It’s a valid concern, hence my recent question about our company value and what it could sell for.

I think anything below £200m is a steal, and I’d be expecting a lot more than that !!!

We all know what Darwin is holding and so do any partners, we also know the value of our location and its stable global supply routes.

If I was BP, Shell, Total etc I’d be biting BOR’s hand off to get a slice of this. I’d also be building a house on the Falklands as it’s probably the safest place on earth right now thanks to the genocidal Israilis and that Ukrainian dictator. Both of which seem hell bent on starting WW3.

I really don’t see a private sell as it would not be possible without the support of our board as they hold over 50%. And they know the real value of Darwin alone is in the billions.

It’s good to see, although we all know this is the case with the Falklands and Gibraltar.

These are self governed islands and it’s not possible for any UK government to ever hand them over. And I strongly suspect hell will freeze long before the Falkland islanders vote to leave the UK and throw their lot in with the banana republic Argentinians.

Regarding your question about who’s at the table, I really don’t expect any confirmation one way or the other. Not until a RNS is issued.

i am getting more and more encouraged with our progress since harry came on board, and with the new energy that we have driving the relaunched farm out.

it is possible to make a prediction, but only if you invent the future you are being asked to predict.

on that note i would say it is self evident that in the absence of a firm statement, a farm out is highly probable in 2025. everything is lining up in order for this to happen.

the middle east is a total **** show thanks to israeli aggression and war mongering (and they have the audacity to call their actions a right to defend themselves).

the falklands is a safe and secure o&g route to the usa, uk & europe, africa, australia and china.

without ships going anywhere near russia or the middle east.

i’ve said it a dozen times or more, god only knows why the falklands o&g reserves have not been developed sooner.

i’ve been invested for over 13 years and will stay as long as it takes to get the pay day that we all deserve.

Deep, I’m actually very encouraged by the big boys loading up which shows high levels of confidence and also means us PI’s don’t need to pony up. The price was also dropped yesterday to let Pi’s load up. So I don’t see the issue here.

Regarding share volume, we are less than a billion, which is nothing, here’s BP’s share profile at almost 3 billion.

Just saw the rns and I have to say it’s to most positive I’ve felt for a long time. It looks to me that this is simply needed in order to test flow rates at Darwin. I also strongly suspect that this has been requested by the potential farm in partners who have looked at joining in with Darwin.

I’d be shocked if we don’t see further positivity and progress through 2025.

I wonder how the price will move though during the next 3-6 months. I feel it’s going to go up, but how far is anyone’s guess.
