Hi Gus, SP just dropped to 3.7p based on a piddly 1.5m trades, that is absolutely ridiculous.
They can play with this all they like; the value is clear to us all so I’m holding no matter how long they take to let us know what’s going on.

Hi Phil, I get your point with the going concern tests and additional funds. But these are all 2022 activities and shouldn’t be holding up a 2021 year end report.
My view is they are absolutely holding this up due to the company statement on activity.
I also suspect an NDA would be in place if there are significant talks taking place, but this would not stop a generic statement such as “we are involved in discussions with one or several companies regarding a farm out or buy out.” Or words to that effect.
Unless there is a gentleman’s agreement to keep a lid on this to stop the sp blowing up ahead of the announcement.
It’s all guesswork but something here is fishier than my exes Y-fronts (which is also the reason she’s my ex).
ATB
Hi RG, I can’t see it going to 2p any time soon, unless the eventual results update doesn’t have any mention of farm out or TO activity.
It’s the statement on activity that we all need to see, so I expect the price will hold at 4-5p until then.
Just venting as I’m getting increasingly bored waiting on the annual results being posted.
It’s the usual head in the sand tactic from our BOD instead of letting the investors know why we had a 1000% sp increase in 4 months !!!
At this stage I don’t even care what the update says, just break the friggin boredom ffs and tell us something !!!
Sjoh, our sp hit £1.39 on the tumour that we had discovered a huge oil field. When if was reported we actually discovered gas condensate the price dropped like a rock and kept going.
Ironically had condensate is precisely what the world needs now so happy days did us. It just takes a lot of patience.
Taxi, so just for clarity, you’re saying that someone has just moved almost 1 million shares on the basis that nothing is happening or expected to happen anytime soon. And this is your experienced position on this ?
Wow, that’s not how I see it at all.
Looks exactly like the opposite of that to me. Something is absolutely going to happen soon. We have the annual results that are now delayed by a month, based on the previous 2 years, and why do you think that is ?
There’s the Canadian investor buying millions of shares and an asset worth billions.
It looks like an ISA transfer that’s been well timed ahead of a price explosion in the very near future.
Hi Gus, I’m absolutely convinced that the book is being controlled.
The trades are mostly below £1k and the prices are all over the place. Remember the 1M buy order that went through a week or two ago and the price never even went up? How the F is that even possible ?
And during all this a Canadian fella is hoovering up millions of shares each week.
Hi Rookie,
It’s shocking that mm’s can get away with taking an sp down when you can’t even buy £10k.
They’re obviously filling an order (possibly the Calgary bloke) and should be increasing the bid to get the shares that they need.
They can’t keep this down for long so I’ll wait till the price is a lot higher before selling any.
Hi guys, I’ve tried several times to see if it would take a large order based on value and it says no electronic quote available. It when I drop it to £2k it gives me a firm quote.
I have my own theory on this and I think it’s a good sign, but can anyone advise. Gus I’m looking at you mate lol
Cheers
Sj, I agree it’s not a school yard so your first post should not be an apparent dig at pricing on a share many of us have held for over a decade.
How about this as an opener. Hi all, long time holder but just joined today etc etc…
Sjoh, so for clarity you set up a profile, or I assume an alternate profile, on LSE just so you could make that ridiculous post… you do realise we all have the impression of a giddy half witt bursting with pride at their 4 brain cells firing up to compose a 2 word sentence.
Fyi we’re about to step back up, with a 6p bid.
Pratt !!!
Hi Bond, I appreciate your alternative view. Although I simply cannot see us selling Darwin for £200m. That would be corporate theft given the asset alone is worth billions of pounds. Not to mention the rest of our acreage and the 3D and 2D seismic surveys and many other drill sites identified. We’ve spent a lot more than £200m on our drills and surveys.
I’ve always felt that £1 a share would be far more realistic, although as I said earlier, if I was given a 40p so for my 2.5M shares I’d take it, even though I believe they are worth more.
I’d be happy with the win and wouldn’t feel to hard done by.
Thanks Silver, it’s been a heck of a run mate but I’m in a good position now with my lump of shares climbing like a rocket :)
I bought an extra 500k with the entitlement plus some extras to take it to the half million and they cost me £7k. I could have sold them an hour ago for £38k !!!
Suffice to say I’m holding, if the Canadians can do it then so can I :))
Great news on this potentially covering your losses. It’s horrible seeing the values drop so enjoy the lift and ATB.
