Yes ddboy it's been a life changing experience - getting tied-up with rumours of abundant and easy to access oil, the lucky strike (which was later played down to allow the MNR and Bond holder's manipulations), rumours of the Chinese buyout, the arrival of the strategic genious MP - saving us all from going under, tribal crooks skimming and winning, the home market manipulators.

All this upside around GKP (for several years now), and we are still going nowhere fast.
We were crucified by the 100 to 1 destruction of our SP due to mis-management of our debt in an era of cheap money, nobody appears to want to buy us (with all this easy and cheap to extract oil), our BoD never seems to get anything done to move us forward (you guys still drawing fat salaries ?), pipeline spur is stillborn (Barzani's familly still making a nice little earner off of the ridiculous trucking operations and the dubious metering pilferrings presumably), POO going over $80 and our lifting costs are sub $3 (a nice little earned for a IOC one would think ?), the IS excuse for previous non/under-payments appears to be history.
Only explanantion can be that we are still seen as being in the cusp of corruption as the country is a political shambles, run by tribal crooks.
Woe is me for ever being involved in this catastrophe.

Things have changed as the POO accelerates through $75 of course - optimism and stability returns to the House of Saud.
Now they are in a buoyant mood and even want to expand outwith The Kingdon (and encircle the hated Iranians to boot).

This is where we come in (thanks to The Donald's genious with his World Economic strategies): China can't rely on access to American oil now, he will encourage home grown Big Oil to keep them and Aramco out of Kurdistan by promoting acquisitions, India's energy demand increasing daily (and Iran won't be filling their Oil & Gas quotas)..... luvvly jubbly, a bidding war is exactly what we need to exit from this mess in some sort of style.
