If you were trying to get a relevant therapy approval we have the ‘Perfect Storm.’

Urgency and the situation will be putting incredible pressure on the focus groups who need to act to provide effective therapeutics.

Expedited emergency approval will become the only viable option IMHO.

Then there’s clarification Uk and many other countries will only be ordering vaccine for the most vulnerable. That’s the first time I have heard this clarified.

So the upshot is massive unmet need requiring an effective therapy. Step forward SNG.

I am invested and remain of the belief it’s not IF but WHEN.

I am not a flat earther anti vaxer or holder of conspiracy theories.
I am though a realist who accepts what I have no control over. I am patient and along with all others here believe we should be in a strong if not very strong place before long :)

It’s a debilitating pandemic but on the flip side a perfect storm for somebody to make the first move, to green light SNG.

I really think we remain little more than a promising academic research topic and nobody will stake their reputation on championing us until we get the official stamp of approval. Then things could change quickly even Dr Hillary might give us a shout out !

I think as discussed earlier for a variety of reasons we have faced an uphill struggle.

The narrative to date has massively featured and fed the public appetite for a vaccine as the only answer. We simply don’t fit into this, we have not been in the public consciousness on any level.

Is it likely your friends and family would have heard of us but for your own interest ?
I am confident none of my mine would.

I watched a small feature on a Welsh hospital last night and the doctor was high lighting the use of Remdesivir. So a fast tracked American drug which sits in disputed moderately low to reportedly no use spectrum is being dished out in the UK as a treatment of choice. We on the other hand been chucked off the main fast track trial in favour of an ANTIBIOTIC! I repeat an antibiotic that has I understand predictably found to be useless.

I am therefore looking to Europe or America to ‘ break’ SNG and from there hopefully the floodgates will open. Maybe. :)

Oil no doubt that is a ballsy move and some would probably say it may end in tears.
I suppose there comes a time in say poker, sport and many other scenarios when a lot of people thinking with a clear head feel compelled to back themselves.

Woodie apologies for not seeing this earlier but it was a timely reminder COPD and other lucrative applications are often overlooked here.

I include myself in that failing but it’s why the risk v reward stacks up so well for me here. The worst case scenario at the moment is that COVID results to date were not proved or replicated by future trials.
Worst case scenario is recoverable IMHO as there are many other applications where the science tells us it will have a beneficial impact and commercial future.

In terms of my own personal risk analysis that is as good as it gets a considerably de risked bet with massive upside potential.

I am a relatively inexperienced investor in this sector and my sentiment simply reflects my own take on this.

Maybe not, or at least not yet, the great panacea to this pandemic.

It may placate people for a bit but the media and science will soon be onto it.

Being selfish for a moment it probably further supports what we are doing here. If we get the anticipated approvals, help to tackle the pandemic and get to help our own families through our investment then pretty good all round I’d say.

This is may be massively important.

Something which the vaccine manufacturers might not want to highlight whilst they mass roll out and try to hoover up the cash.

I have seen the banner headline ‘vaccine shown to produce strong antibody response.’
But maybe what they don’t want to discuss is the same antibodies might be leaving your body soon as soon as you’ve rubbed your arm and left Tesco’s car park ?

Nobody in government will be willing to contemplate or admit they’ve just spanked many more hundreds of millions of pounds on another three legged donkey.

It’s a simple thought process I get the jab I’m safe, big sigh, life gets back to normal.

But hold on just a god dam minute, to keep up your antibodies you need re vaccinating every few weeks ? Everybody?

I hope l will be given a bit of slack for pondering out loud if it might assist fellow investors like myself who don’t have a medical background.

My question is this -

‘ It has been proven & widely reported that people get this virus more than once. The second infection seemingly equal or more severe.
So the body has been given the full force of the virus and does not produce a lasting effective immunity response.

So just how effective is the bodies lasting response actually going to be given a vaccine is primarily a much weakened dose of the virus when the full blown thing can’t successfully ‘educate’ the body weeks or months down the line ?

Sharp eye I think you have described eloquently how the system currently operates, not as I believe what is eminently possible and preferable.

In this day and age it is plain wrong that a system allows a few to manipulate the reality however it suits them. Particularly when what is really going on deceives & affects the investment decisions of many.

We supposedly have a system where there is an obligation to releases price sensitive information in a timely manner. Yet the truth around a massive buy or sell is pure guesswork. There is no reason why we can’t have a system which identifies two opposites, a ‘sell’ or a ‘buy’ Absolute fragrant nonsense. Sorry rant over.

The latest statement from Sir Patrick seems incredibly important to me. It confirms his belief that vaccines will not be the panacea to this virus despite the media fixation & hype to the contrary.

The anticipated time scale for vaccine role out (spring 2021 best case scenario) and ongoing limited effectiveness sit very well with me as an investor in this therapeutic.

I think it is important for our sanity to try to filter out the ‘white noise’ of the nay sayers. Not to fixate on every minor bump in the road and get too excited why we are not quite there yet.

I am a firm believer in good things come to those prepared to be patient when the situation to all intents and purposes is out of our hands. At the moment nothing is detracting from my sense that SNG is being lead by very capable people proactively pushing to get this product to market. I trust that the overwhelming direction of travel is strongly positive and with finances sorted it is not ‘IF’ but simply ‘WHEN’ we will be rewarded.

With so many others falling by the wayside I am starting to feel for want of a better expression our stars are starting to align.
The science is genius in my view remedying a naturally occurring deficiency that helps the body heal itself. The most effective ideas are often the most direct and ‘simple’ and this in my eyes although refined over many years of research is just that.
Reading & listening to the many world wide studies waking up to the Synairgen approach is music to my ears.

It just a bit unpleasant and thoughtless IMHO. Thankfully it’s not a medical condition I suffer from but for many it is albeit as a youthful affliction or possibly through cancer or other illness.
