The sad reality is that a ‘level playing field’ is a jargonistic fantasy. We have backed a minnow pitting itself against established pharma giants. Of course they are going to exploit that huge advantage to make sure they get an incredibly oversized slice of the pie even if their products are largely overhyped crap. That is why drugs with little if any proven efficacy are miraculously fast tracked and pushed to the fore whilst SNG is told to sit quietly in the corner and keep quiet.

On top of this we are governed by an Oxford centric elite who are more than capable of starving SNG oxygen and trousering the kick backs for being good old boys. The big Pharmas provide vast sums of financial support to ‘research and development’ in the likes of Oxford so is it any wonder that in return they control the narrative.

It’s wrong, its corrupt but it is the reality. It is the only logical reason why a therapy that everything points towards having the science spot on continues to be sidelined. So IMHO it is better to accept it.

If France or whoever seizes on the opportunity first it will only make me smile more at the baffoons in this country trying to play catch up .

I remain adamant that despite the adverse playing field we will see the cream rising to the top albeit probably with some much needed Gallic support.

Just had a look at the Trades for today and the vast majority are very chunky buys- not PI’s but I I’s hoovering up huge amounts they have manipulated down. So we are definitely suffering as they orchestrate a massive ‘win win’ situation for themselves. You or I can do nothing but look on, we are financially invested but literally do not have a say.
Having said that there are two analogies l would like to use.
No1. Having bought my first property at the start of the 80s property crash I could have panicked and followed many & sold at a hefty loss. Instead I was patient trusted that this happened periodically and it was not Armageddon, so I rented it and sold for a profit a few years later. Successful investors are patient Manifesto I think quoted ‘If’ my sentiment exactly .

No2. The market wants something concrete to hang it’s hat on that SNG will live up to its promise. At the moment we have done our homework and it’s like we’ve invested in plot of land. The value of that land at the moment is low but will increase exponentially when we get planning permission. Now do we sell at a loss and further reward the manipulators or do we see the same thing all the big boys see and wait for that permission.
I may be wrong but I think we’ve got a good hand and would hate to be bluffed into losing when we may well have the winning hand.

Can we please put this interview thing to bed and move on. He wasn’t doing a piece to camera selling a lawnmower on the Shopping Channel!
He was specifically there as an expert to give a response and take part in a time critical structured interview.
Personally I would be pretty concerned if a guy of his standing went Trumpesque and off piste to satisfy a different agenda.
It would have been totally awkward and weird.

I ‘m no doctor but chief physician talking about a ‘momentary fever episode??? ‘ Dexamethasone treatment for patients with severe symptoms I thought but Trumps portrayed as jogging round his room doing push ups ! Pure codswallop and sad the progression of a safe highly effective treatment SNG 001 is influenced by such lunacy ! IMHO

Re SNG recognition out of interest I just Google searched interferon treatment and Synairgen Plc came up virtually bottom of the page ‘lost’ under loads of outdated academic guff.
Not an area I know much about but I thought it was possible to boost your listing to a much more noticeable page pole position? May be worth looking at ?

I also revisited Synairgen web site and the updated content was very impactful and ‘NEEDS’ to be more widely digested.
Surely the more people read about the trial success including D T’s clinicians the sooner we progress ?

I agree with much of what has been said but my honest impression is that we haven’t yet reached sufficient clinical recognition to be on many peoples radar. The Oxford professor involved with the Recovery Program on BBC this morning for example made zero reference to probable Interferon benefits when pressed on all the possible treatments. I am a genuine holder - just my observation when ‘any’ of the most prominent scientists are rolled out Whitty , Vallance et al.

Stated that D T is receiving unproven but highly promising antibodies that had shown to be highly effective in a small trial in small trial. Apologies for lack of detail as news on in the background but sounded like an interferon type remedy, maybe ? Anybody more clued on ?

Fair point Pmjh but Rightly or wrongly I can’t help but smile , some might say gets his just rewards and saves the day ? My brain aches just pondering it however remote.

The very possibility that that loathsome truth denying buffoon could inadvertently lead to the global uptake of a ground breaking therapeutic now that would be the craziest thing ever !
