Planning a decent holiday amongst other things if we get some good news and travel gets back to some normality.

It’s going to be a difficult conversation with my wife if not.

I know lots of important stuff is ongoing but it would be appreciated if we knew more for certain and the markets were given some tangible progress pointing towards an imminent commercial operation.

Folk disagreeing I respect your opinion but please spare us the list of what we know already.

A medic associated with this was suggesting a specific antidepressant as a treatment option.

SNG is a slow burner. It is being taken up through the gears rather than being announced to the world in a fanfare.

It seems that some will over promise and underdeliver whereas SNG is allowing independent science to confirm it has great potential.

I was a bit shocked by the recent impact Pfizer had on the share price and I am now mentally prepared for more of the same if that’s what it takes.

But as several wise heads have said trust what you ‘know’ to be factual not the other stuff.

What I know for certain is that a number of ‘placebo’ therapies have had expedited call ups from regulators. Yet still pressure & demand increases by the day.

Just one substantive licensing deal or emergency approval will transform where we are and other barriers will fall like a house of cards.

I don’t know much about this shorting business but I now think it would be a very brave man to bet against it.

Yep sounds like the good guys have clearly identified the same issues. I think it’s courageous that they’re highlighting this and not pulling any punches. Integrity for most medics is a non negotiable commodity.

It’s absolutely shameful some have sold theirs and are prepared to divert valuable time and resources away from therapies that actually work.

With family working in the NHS, it’s been a rude awakening realising just how many of the top medics working for big pharma’s have apparently sold their souls.

With apparent abandonment drugs and vaccines are being talked up and signed off regardless of true efficacy. There must be an awful lot of Hippocratic Oath Certificates in the bin.

Last night I was reading that Australia didn’t want or think it was a good idea to give the new Pfizer vaccine to the elderly or vulnerable.

Yet the UK is proposing the exact opposite?
This was picked by another poster last night but I haven’t seen an explanation. Anybody got a clue ?

I am not an anti Vaxer just a bit perplexed.

Some folk in life are genuinely interesting because they make you look at something in a whole new way.

Others sadly try to be the centre of attention by creating nonsensical arguments and being weird.
They then feel aggrieved when the very people they have tried to impress grow tired and hostile having had enough of the ‘look at me antics.’

Great news we have a Peer Review. Big tick. It has created much needed global interest & a lot of people will be hearing about this therapy for the first time. Very big tick.

The Synairgen teams conclusions when bolted on to the findings add much needed impact and clarity. They cut through the ambiguity and explain the huge benefits of this therapy.

The Peer Review is helpful in a many ways like pointing out a lack of viable alternatives but takes away with the other hand. Big caveats like no conclusion on mortality despite 3 deaths as opposed to 0 deaths. Majorly new technology with small trial size means you can actually draw limited positive conclusions with any certainty.

In this context until more trial data is created to satisfy the ‘not proven’ headings the weight of supporting science can be used to start answering those doubts.

The Solidarity Trial proved negative because it pursued a flawed premise.

It didn’t work because it was injected into a muscle no where near where it could be utilised i.e. in The lungs. SNG does the opposite.

Very importantly studies are showing people getting really sick such as the elderly or BME have naturally lower levels of interferon. SNG remedies this deficiency.

Bats carry a plethora of diseases and don’t themselves get sick because they have incredibly high levels of interferon.

Studies in China showed hospital staff exposed to the virus didn’t get sick when they were given additional inhaled interferon.

Lastly the trial data to date involved really quite ill patients already requiring oxygen where as SNG is designed to be given much earlier and therefore expected to produce if anything, even better outcomes.

The supporting evidence is out there. Everything which joins the dots and starts to inform the average man or woman in the street why we need this rolled out asap.

The SP will oscillate sometimes wildly until we are producing or imminently producing a return. Waiting patiently for that progress update and some direct news to reaffirm though.

I am pleased some still feel blindly optimistic despite anyone holding having just taken an almighty kick to the nether regions.

I wonder if the same were to happen again in the coming weeks and more vaccines drop and declare excellent results & you’re down to penny shares you will still feel so happy?

Investor confidence is a fickle thing.

Once the panic sets in it becomes a self fulfilling avalanche as clearly shown this week.

I do think we need some good press to bolster the SP and push back against the perception that any half decent vaccine will make all the bad things disappear.

Numis and Finncap have tried to steady the ship but We the invested need something from the horses mouth and no it isn’t too much to ask given that we’ve all entrusted a good chunk of our hard earned.

This is ‘happening’ ... ‘whilst we are waiting for the full results initial figures are very positive’ ... ‘ partnering discussions are going well and expect ......to happen in the next few weeks ‘ etc

I don’t expect RM to be in front of the camera every day but other staff or PR should be employed.

Radio silence for too long allows negativity to fill the void and that benefits no one.

The vaccine announcement was exactly what people wanted to hear.

They seem to have by-passed some of the scientific convention and spoken directly to the public, and decision makers.

Then with that leveraged position they’ve effectively turned the tables on the regulators and put them under the pressure to approve it.

I am sure it will have a significant benefit and SNG and others were collateral damage yesterday.
What know about the need for therapies for this and the wider respiratory context hasn’t changed. We’ve woken up a bit wiser and a bit poorer today but SNG are nearer potential approval today than yesterday and I still believe there’s a still a very big market to be tapped into.
We will see.
