We are still jumping through all the medical regulatory stuff so the science will do it’s thing.

Get the message out there others are and grabbing the limelight and commercial rewards. Being the shrinking violet who nobody’s heard of will get us absolutely no where. Speak and get fed or sit dutifully in the corner and starve?

I think it’s the only sensible option given the blatant cronyism and advantage being doled out to less effective treatments.

We are late for the meeting sitting dutifully in a traffic jam whilst the talked up placebo treatments are getting a blue light escort with outriders!

You only have to look at what Marcus Rashford achieved when he steadfastly called out Boris and the entire government machine. Spin and a cold shoulder were overcome by speaking truth to power.

We should do the same. Sitting quietly being ignored is morally bankrupt and potential commercial suicide.

I have very little time for Tony Blair.

But in his Sky Interview a couple of weeks back he was saying surely if it’s safe and has any positive impact 10-15 % for example it’s good enough and should be made available. Get it out there. Simple risk to benefit .

Interferon has many years of safety data and is a repurposed therapy. It is not some wacky formula cooked up in a Frankenstein laboratory. It is an otherwise naturally occurring protein used by the body to fight infection.
There is an established mechanism to facilitate a closely monitored roll out given the pre existing knowledge of how additional interferon reacts inside the body.
If I or any of my family were to get seriously ill with Covid I would want SNG to be used. I would take it in a heartbeat if required.

It is sadly what it is.

I’m not anti Tory (it just happens they’re calling the shots at the moment), but you only have to see the blatant cronyism around PPE and the gift of mega contracts, with people scratching each other’s backs in plain sight.

SNG is having to take the long route with other options a done deal pre paid and the regulation a formality.

I remain convinced the science they have pursued is bang on and it will come good with plenty of market left.

This is the potential dependable multi tool bit of kit which may be the go to save lives and money in the future.

There have been a number of folk on this board who posed difficult or alternative views which proved to be 100% spot on whilst some stupidly hurled insults only to be proved to be the actual buffoon.

In no way decrying what’s been unearthed here I think it’s one of the most exciting recent developments.

If they’re confident it works with a nasty cynical head who pays for using SNG whilst these wider trials roll on. Is it not SNG? Benefit to wider public great but if that is the case the longer they can string out trials then effectively the NHS get the treatment for free ?

So why are the BBC hailing it as a potential game changer? A little more research may be in order.

In practical terms I think lockdowns to prevent hospitals being overwhelmed is a necessary ‘evil’ the other bits about nonsensical non targeted testing actually made sense.

There is massive potential in SNG but as RM was clear there is nothing in the here and now that unlocks that potential.

No Indian or Pharma Licensing Deal no government pre orders etc etc. The wheels are turning and eventually we hope all will come good.

Just not now, this week this month or this side of Christmas. Sometime in the New Year we could produce enough data to convince folk to buy. It really is that simple, just no quick fixes.

No juicy developments everything we mostly knew already. The exciting rumours of imminent stuff that would set this alight were sadly debunked.

Bar some unforeseen lead I think we’re slumbering until the New Year to satisfy those Data Sets.

The potential is and has been massive for a long time but no jam today.

One day this will be great.

But we need news of a commercial take up or Licensing Agreement. RM dismissed the rumours out of hand of this currently being near fruition.

That was disappointing and looking increasingly likely we may have to stay the distance well into the new year to get that news.

I would like your excitement to be maintained but barring an unknown commercial development I think we will be battered more in the coming weeks.

Fantastic potential hasn’t held the SP so far. Into the New Year with a strong vaccine headwind until then.

One thing RM did do was dash the rumours circulating of imminent pharma deals or Indian subcontinent take up.
Not going to be popular given the wupping and hollering but realistic I feel.
