focusIR May 2024 Investor Webinar: Blue Whale, Kavango, Taseko Mines & CQS Natural Resources. Catch up with the webinar here.
An interview would be nice, but given the news he may deem it unnecessary now the resource can speak for itself. I've always thought they were just for us retail investors anyway, so I wouldn't be too upset if we don't get one assuming the re-rate is soon to kick off.
I don't see any point in attacking LB28 to be honest, everyone believed the no pending placing talk, it's clearly been blown out the water now with another book build kick in the stomach. My investment has became less and less ever since the Company Making Atomic transaction, and now in about 45 minutes I will be making a loss on my holding for the first time since I invested. Not amused at all, but do I feel the need to waste time trolling someone who called this mornings actions? not really.. I'm far more occupied in deciding what to do now. My main point of concern being if this market cap does increase markedly is it going to be hand in hand with the shares in issue increasing to same tune or more? I'm less than impressed especially after re-watching the CEO's last interview with proactive investors.. It's all good news!! was amongst the final comments
I also have concerns over funding, however I am hopeful it will be involve no or very little dilution for existing holders, there has to be a reason that Zenith rns news regarding it's credit rating fairly often? I've not been in any other companies that have done that.

I sold a fair amount here ages ago, but left some in on the hope that it would be enough to cover what I had lost on selling the initial chunk. Unfortunately it looks like that won't be the case.. same old same old here :( to think at one point this was my big hope.. once the BP licence arrives this will fly I thought! let's face it that's what we were all led to believe.. it's been nothing but a share price disaster since that point :( just a few things that irk me now.. the word imminent and there will be no placing at this level.. there are many more things said in interviews and in updates but so far not much of it has come to pass.. this latest news announcement well.. a few years ago that would actually have looked promising but they've successfully managed to wear me down now to the point of meh and wondering what bad news is to follow. they've sucked the life, as well as a good wad of cash, out of this investor.
From the outside looking in it does appear to be a risky undertaking, especially as Vast have so far failed to gain traditional debt funding for their existing projects. I know Botswana is a different jurisdiction and it has been claimed there are potential funders in place, however in the interviews I heard HNWI being mentioned.. that would normally mean placings and not loans in my opinion and understanding of how individuals would provide funding. Botswana Diamonds on the other hand appear to be the company with the experience and know how, given they will initially be running the start up of mine and they have no requirement to fund unless they choose to if\once the mine is bearing fruit or rather diamonds. In my mind they would seem to be the more appealing option, although if the mine is a success then of course Vast would do very well... two varying levels of risk and reward which seems pretty unique fat this stage for the one resource, outwith oilers
Wasn't banking on some of the ridiculous numbers bandied about yesterday, but I must admit I'm baffled as to how this can only be 6.58% up after relisting today. The company has been transformed during suspension with further upside to follow.. baffled but if funds come available while the sp stays at this level then I'll be adding to my holding
Good news on the spud, just wondering why we can't be told about the on-going operation activities though? Is there any rule on what can be communicated during suspension? Or is it a case of holding everything back to create a frenzy for share buying on re-list?
What I have left remaining in this is almost 84% down, waited on the BP licence finally being awarded, and it's been nothing but absolute pain since. This has been along with TRP one of the worst investments I've ever made.. best of it is I held Sareum for 12 years and sold out last year to purchase something else and SAR goes to the moon! live and learn
