The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
MMs to brace themselves and payback? I'm confused I thought the MMs made their money no matter what way the trades were going? just as long as there are trades.. surely the more trades the better for them?
@cawcaw I guess there is no point making the point any longer... there are those of us who buy the ticket to take the ride and there are those of us who buy the ticket and are quite happy to keep paying a higher and higher price until the ride starts.
I am in agreement with Caw Caw also, I am holding and bought more as I believe COPL's share price will still increase, however it will not be an increase to the heights of what were first expected and that is the gripe that many of us have.
I'm not interested in anyone trying to sway my view that profit is profit.. I will be happy if the SP here increases vastly but at the same token I will still be peed off that it's not as high as it should be.
Especially if nothing to comes to pass between now and post-Atomic acquisition that leads me to believe that the bookbuilding could have waited until after the deal is complete at a presumably higher price.
Patronise away, however if the deal completion date is next Monday.. this will hit the SP in the days leading up to the sign off and therefore lead to further dilution when the atomic owner gets their $4million USD amount of shares.. and if it isn't bad news why is it released now once the market has closed?
I'll answer my own question:
The Facility has a base size of $45 million, with an additional, or "accordion", $20 million to fund future development at the sole discretion of the lender.
So for future development.. this lottery ticket is getting more expensive
I seen the title of the RNS and actually thought wow good news for once... then read the bloody thing.. shortly after "is pleased to announce" that familiar feeling of disappointment returned. Anything that can go wrong does indeed appear to go wrong here and it's always announced way later than, imo, it should be. With rising copper prices I actually thought this may actually be about to have it's day.. more fool me.
