It’s a veritable feast for this lot. I hope there is something left over when they have all finished doing what they are doing (whatever that is!!).

Personally I’d rather see a new management team and new Board appointed ASAP here to move the company forward.

They don’t know the actual cash position! That’s why they removed the treasury employee along with the FD and CEO so they can find out!!!

Please folks remember this company is still in a formal “Offer Period” and the Takeover Code rules will apply.
This is a pretty unique situation with investigations running, a year end audit ongoing, co shares suspended and also in an Offer period. Apart from the Freeh fees I suspect every expensive legal firm in London is billing either the company or the Independent Board Committee!!! Plus their Investment Banks won’t be working for nothing and they will have their own legal advisors!!

I still contend the Govt of Abu Dhabi will take this over and sort it out privately. Too much at stake for the UAE health economy.

It shouldn’t go under, but that depends on what the total liabilities finally are when all the investigating work is done. Cutting through all the business school speak in the last few annual reports is difficult and maybe a lesson for us investors!!
Focus on free cash flow in a business, management with a track record of tangible success and look closely at the balance sheet!!

Sorry Urraca, your point about their financial advisors not resigning is a good one. Barclays etc are still in their corner advising them. If the brown stuff was really flying about they would have resigned already.

I don’t think it is “game over”. This company has a lot of major institutional investors both in their debt and equity. They will probably ask the company’s financial advisors to put in a serious healthcare management team with a brief to clean up the balance sheet and steady the ship. They should sell their distribution division and focus on providing quality healthcare and not running a warehouse operation. Trim back operations from 19 countries lol to focus on their core countries and core markets (IVF etc) to generate all that matters FREE CASH FLOW!!

Follow the good Lord’s example as it’s the only way cash can ever be generated from this company.

The company would have to announce something if they haven’t got enough cash to trade so unless they do then this must be a purely administrative issue with the management changes.
