As I understand it, The BOD, having accepted the deal to begin have now put the lenders in the driving seat alongside them. Indeed the £99m tranche will be the end if/when it goes through, which as far as I know could be any time from the close of play today.

Indeed they do have until 22nd April to bid, but as of this afternoon the lenders can put this into administration any time between now and then as far as I understand it. Given how hostile MA has been to all parties involved I doubt very much they'll grant SPD any more time TBH.

......One of the stipulations made by the BOD was that he guarantee the £150m payment. MA won't make an offer because he's a waste of space. He won't guarantee anything because he's a sneaky fat head.

........in the next 4 hours I can only see the price slipping dramatically from here IMO.

As I said last week, when the inevitable becomes patent to everyone, their attention will turn to talk of legal action and what not. One thing is for certain, even with Billionaire's like MA involved, legal action or simply talk of it, very rarely comes to anything.

MA has been desperate ever since the begging letter he put out on the SPD website and ever since then he's just become more and more so.

Pretty much what I've been saying. The BOD and lenders have been planing this for months and are obviously working in concert. I also stated that they keep moving the goal posts to see to it MA/SPD don't get what they want here. The lenders are dictating to the board and the lenders are obviously in full control.

I also stated that MA's attention seeking antics over the weekend were a desperate attempt to put the spotlight on the BOD. Again I will re-iterate, as I did over the weekend, if the BOD are confident of there legal position they will simply tell MA/SPD to get lost.

Some people here have convinced themselves the BOD need to run everything past shareholders, right down to changing the Debenhams coat hanger of choice from plastic to wire.

The BOD and lenders can do almost anything they want here without running anything past shareholders, simple.

The RNS as far as I can tell is just a response to the weekend speculation.

It appeared at first that an extension had been granted, but it doesn't state any such thing categorically. So the RNS is simply re-iterating what we already know up to now. DEBS have not responded to the speculation and no formal offer has been made.

Assuming I am correct in my reading of this, then as of this evening, the fate of the company is officially in the hands of the lenders. SPD and everyone's favourite fat head have until 22nd April to put in a formal offer should the lenders not get their knives out and start carving the DEBS corpse up between now and then.

Until it's stated as fact, nothing has changed and the RNS has simply given a few more SH's here a chance to leave with something. After this evening it's in the hands of the God's.

I panicked for a moment when I saw it showing a 90% drop before I realised what was going on.

Still hanging on in here, but I'm very disappointed at how this has played out over the last few weeks. Align ramping and getting tons of shares annoyed me, not to mention seeing how many shares still need to be offloaded has left me quite dejected here.

Let's consider the upside. At best the upside is 100% from the current level if the 5p offer is accepted. If the Right's Issue was accepted I doubt there'd be any upside from the current level. All that considered I'm left scratching my head as to why people are still buying at the 11th hour and paying a premium for the privilege when total wipe out is the most likely scenario.

.........Added another cheeky 500 quid to my holding here. I'm feeling very good about this stock in the short to medium term. Probably the most undervalued stock on the market at the moment.

.......down the middle this morning. Plenty of buying and selling. Some people have taken this mornings RNS as positive and the more savvy folk can see it for what it is. The fact remains that nothing has changed and DEBS have still yet to comment. This morning was IMO everyone's last opportunity to get out of this over 2p.

The lenders and BOD have already decided what will happen here and there's no stopping them now IMO.

Unless we have some amazing news today, the SP will be very interesting to watch this evening as it dawns on everyone what's probably going to happen after they have it spelt out for them, probably by the media.

Best not to assume though I suppose. As you say SPD always had until April 22nd, but it was out of their hands after today. If we assume there has been no extension, then this could still go into administration any time from this evening onwards. As usual, these RNS's are as clear as mud.

It makes perfect sense. I wanted a sensible conversation this weekend about a stock I've been watching closely for a few months now and all I've seen on this BB is people ramping the azz off it trying to get gullible cretins to throw their savings into this a few hours before it probably goes into administration.

As far as me being happy goes I want the people who abused me all weekend to know I am happy. I'm happy for one not to be invested here, neither long nor short. I'm happy to be sitting, popcorn in my lap while the rampers who cost people their life saving become the terrified losers they accused me of being.

Yes I do feel that. As I said yesterday, I had a great weekend and feel very happy this morning. That doesn't mean I'm shorting. I think you're reading too much into this. If only people had read as much into this stock perhaps everyone would have been much happier today.

........for the people who had a go at me yesterday claiming I was shorting this, that I was terrified and scared stiff. Just a quick update on my current emotional situation this morning in case you were still wondering. I must say I woke up this morning feeling happier and more at ease than ever, I feel today is going to be a very good day for me.

As I said last week, unless by some miracle a deal was struck over the weekend, there was always going to be a massive sell-off this morning.

People will just need to accept they gambled and lost here, that Mike Ashley isn't Superman and the writing was always on the wall for those able to see it.

People going on about legal proceeding, taking the BOD to court and all that kind of nonsense after this goes into pre-pack administration will do nobody any good. My advice is just move on and accept you got this one wrong. It happens to all of us from time to time.
