It's a June 2019 article but seems he means business. As an insider he may well have a much better idea of where the dead wood is hiding. Given Aviva's past it's likely duplication of effort is still a problem.

Double thanks for your input BBD. I took my profits at 1477 as they confirmed my earlier doubts about the de-merger. At least in the shorter term. I may get back in later but I do think the Pru has some work to do and maybe the price needs to be still lower.

Took profits out of the PRu yesterday at 1477, good time to buy more AV.

I would say that I have faith in AV. in the medium to long term. The stocks I am interested in did include the PRU until I bought some but also GSK which has been soaring out of my reach recently. A couple of AIM prospects are also doing too well for my immediate investment.

HSBA is lowish but I am concerned they will stay that way in the short/medium term. The dividend is attractive. I am kind of regretting buying POLR - are they suffering from Woodford flu? Maybe they will get over it, I can't see why not.

GSK can be gratifyingly volatile though. Well, gratifyingly for some anyway!

No, but I am expecting several payouts from today and none have arrived! Not unusually. It's the time value of money.

Yes, am within a whisker of being back in profit thanks to volatility and that's without counting the dividend on its way. Wish I could say the same about HSBA.
