AZN divi is less than GSK but their stock has performed far better. Obviously they have had a 'good' pandemic compared to GSK but the comparison goes further back. IMO it's not simply the dividend or the cut thereof, which must be factored in by now, but the outlook for the company generally.

There's always a chance.

In my area the choice of DIY store is limited to Wickes, B&Q, possibly Screwfix and the odd corner shop. Now that builders seem to be in short supply (where'd they all go?) it seems possible that DIY will fall back into fashion.

Picked up a few at this price. I live in hope.

I am very happy for an outsider a.k.a. 'activist' to get a place on the board. Aviva has been a cosy clique for far too long and as a shareholder I too feel I am an outsider. It's time the stable was swept.

To be able to tell you iAbra from your Innova is all it takes. A test too far for the UK government .

As I understand the Innova test is like a litmus paper quite different to iAbra.

The question is whether the UK government has bet on the wrong horse. Should iAbra/TTG/Virolens have been given a bigger role?

It's an ill wind. Soon I will reach break even, profit even.. Then I will have to decide but at the moment it's become a strong hold for me.

Too true. Now was my return to this stock recently well-timed for a hold or do I take profits and run? Conditions are good for decent management but do we have decent management?

I have been in BME well before Covid simply because I thought they were getting it right in the current climate. Then came covid which gave them a boost, quite appropriately. Any concerns that BME are a risk when lockdowns end are exaggerated in my view but if the sellers give me a chance to buy in near 500p I will be grateful.

I'm fine with GSK making great strides and looking good long term. Maybe that's the real explanation for Elliotts; maybe it isn't. However, if I see an opportunity elsewhere, my GSK stocks are my weakest link right now OTOH If GSK takes off I expect I will still have some stake left.

I am slowly backing out my GSK holdings with some success. e.g. funding an AHT stake a while back. It's jumping out of the frying pan and trying to avoid the fire. I think Elliott may have underestimated their task and don't want to be competing with them for a place in the lifeboat.

LGEN has been good to me since late 2019, I have made many thousands from trading it. It also preserved the dividend when others cut it. I have no complaints (about LGEN, anyway).

Yes MNG has netted me 65% profit whilst AV... No, let's not talk about AV. for now.

Does that simply mean they see value in GSK as it is? Or have they backed down?
