First, your allegation that low viral load doesn't lead to a problematic level of viral shedding needs verification.
Second, if you let in people with even minimal viral loads, this means allowing them to further spread the virus a few days later. Remember that all it takes to form a corona cluster is a single superspreader. This is unacceptable.
Third, you write : "As a passenger, would you not prefer to do a test at home before having to verify at the airport?". This reasoning sound enticing, until you realise that you basically pay twice to be tested, and that you will STILL have to wasted time at the airport to get tested, and that depending on your destination, you might still be asked to produced a PCR-driven proof of non-infection.
