gtbs, Yes LOG is in administration, courtesy of the failure of its parent, London Capital Finance - whose directors are the subject of various investigations by the CPS. Smith & Williamson is the administrator and, thankfully, to date, has worked closely with IOG regarding the handling of its responsibilities. However, it is its huge shareholding which is a problem for the sp since, on the assumption that there is no bid for the company from a third party, LOG's holding will ultimately require disposal through the market, a process which will undoubtedly take time and depress the sp.
There are many posters here who, like me, continue to be frustrated by the history of problems with the field developments and the lack of communication from the BoD. However, the facts are that Blythe and Elgood are producing, Southwark should be on stream prior to the year end and the company has further drilling on new areas lined up within the foreseeable future - all taking place at a time of considerable problems with foreign gas imports and high gas prices.
