'14th September so a month yet.' I still think this it timed for just after we will be delisted from the LSE after 6 months supended.

Is it a coincidence that the stay is now extended to 13th September, and the shares may be delisted on 11th September, after 6 months of suspension?

I have received an email today asking for my date of birth, which is on my passport and EU ID card anyway, and also my phone number. Have others had this email?

As there have been many more registrations since the contribution figures were announced, will we see a decrease in the amount we need to pay as the total will now be spread between a lot more participants?

If these costs were to be deducted from the eventual payout, then I would have no problem at all!

I am not trying to put a dampener on this, I have almost 150,000GBP in here and it is devastating to have lost it so I am very keen for this to work, as my forthcoming retirement at age 67 is now on hold. I just want to know a bit more about what is going on. Bear in mind that although I have asked several times, I never found out why the request for a general meeting made by the legal team was fond to be deficient and so denied.

Markshaw, yes, there are some things that do not look as I expected. I thought we were dealing with Setfords, a firm with a team of 500 lawyers. Admittedly it looks as if it is just an umbrella for work to be put out to individual lawyers rather than a large firm. However, we now seem to be employing Carlton Elleker Chase, a company with 2 directors, Joel Barry and Michael Cotter. The company changed name from Barry Legal to the current name last month, and did have a winding up order last year which was cancelled. The company's registered office is a residential house in Richmond, Surrey, and the address on the emails (misspelt) is in a building in Lodon EC4 where there are more than 200 companies using this address.

So I have some reservations about us all jointly handing them 150,000 GBP, as this legal practice seems to have been set up last month, probably just for this claim. I am sure that the CAG and Michael Cotter can explain all this to our satisfaction?
