Ultimately, there's a clear case for Provexis being taken over if Fruitflow continues to advance. Extra media coverage seems to be the order of this year, hopefully this increased exposure will create rising revenues, it usually works that way. Increased revenues make the company more and more attractive to a bigger company, especially one with the resources to expand Provexis Retail in to multiple markets.

Sphinx, IMHO your view is paranoid, and wrong. The terms of any takeover would be disclosure of future prospects. DSM could be sued if they held back information that could be proved to have depressed the value of the company, and would go against their stated business ethics.

My view is that this is vague speculation about a possible event some time in the future.

Consider this. Would a logical mind see an article, a single article, in a publication with a minority readership, and then extrapolate what they had read to mean the total failure of a product that wasn't mentioned in the article?

Is a multi billion dollar industry about to go in to decline as a result?
Are health officials about to reverse advice to consume Omega3 as an important part of a balanced diet?

Fruitflow has by now a wealth of study data in support of its health benefits. As others have said, it can be combined with a long list of other beneficial supplements.

You could always research it yourself in DSM Corporate.
It's certainly all there.

I always felt that Omega 3 would help Fruitflow piggy back in to the consciousness of heart health concerned consumers. We know that it is a multi billion sized market.
My guess is that H&B shift very large volume of Omega3, and that it is a key component of their success. Adding Fruitflow, which has more patented health claims, is a logical development for both them and Provexis. Using Provexis in the branding allows consumers to find the website and educate themselves.

And it's a Provexis Retail product, so margin is higher.

I don't think they continued with that version. DSM provide their sponsored cycling team with Fruitflow through a recovery drink, but not SiS. I'll be happy to be proved wrong.
