If the original EFSA approved claim is the only one that can be used commercially, this proves what a very long term story Fruitflow is. Despite the long list of studies, patents and ongoing research, we still await the unlocking of the commercial potential of this health benefitting discovery. Frustrating.

It puts me in mind of WRN, where the most blatant "heist" was executed by publicly known figures. When one scam was halted by suspension, they set up another in plain sight. Only when the second venture was closed, losing people in several countries money, did the wheels begin to turn, the court case has just begun, many years later.

Why are you singling out this one, when it was happening on loads of other shares. For example, GKP. Hundred fold increase, mass frenzy over claims that a takeover offer was incoming. Not true, it never came. Holders rinsed by colossal dilution and consolidation in order to get production started, practically wiping the value out. Far higher increase, far more folks parted from their funds, far bigger reduction in value, and all achieved by some very organised and insistent posters.

Or, to put it another way: Who were you during 2009 on these boards, and how much did you lose?

The frenzy was in 2009. I had only just started watching the boards at that time, having joined this site in January.

Picking our this share as an exception is a failure of balance, the boards were awash with highly excitable traders and folks seeking to make a return on capital that just wasn't available at banks. No doubt there were "teams" and the two mentioned had big followings across numerous boards. their detractors also followed them from board to board, their own motivation being unclear. perhaps they were professional trying to create liquidity for market makers. Unlikely that they were shorters on such a smallcap. Folks have always posted for a variety of reasons, and altruism isn't one of them.

If anyone can tell of an instance when someone reached over their shoulder and pressed the Buy or Sell button, things would be different. People make money, they lose money, just as in the gambling industry. All part of life's rich tapestry IMHO

When they cash raised, did you participate? When the sp went sub .3, did you add to your holding when the BoD arranged the backing of "a group of investors" ?

If you bought in well before, you had the opportunity to adjust your holding whilst making a profit. Even after his sell, it was several multiples. Frankly, attempting to besmirch current executives is disgusting, they had no part in that matter.

I have always thought that the brokers advised him to sell to bring down the sp to a realistic level. Those that bought in at the peak, after a very rapid rise, have only themselves to blame IMO. 2009 was also an incredibly heated market. Interest rates dropped off a cliff, as did savings rates. I personally know people who re-mortgaged, or even sold property to trade with their capital. That period was never going to last.

The gist of my thoughts is that I feel we can't judge the true gross margin until we are buying from source. Extrapolating anything from transition figures could be misleading. Logically, the final GPM should be higher, but I do agree that accounts can be "jiggled" in a large range of legally justifiable ways. Been there, done that.
