RE: Bid3 Dec 2018 23:28
The TNCP trades often come as pairs with matching quantities but different prices. Though not always eg the 23 Nov:-
168 23-Nov-18 17:12:16 44.500 10,944
170 23-Nov-18 17:04:07 44.978 10,972
They have almost always been in the range 10,000 to 12,000 shares in the last 4 weeks.
Might these trades be a result of a spreadbetting or CFD outfit that wasn't but is now trading BMN and is therefore running its own internal book for all it's eg spreadbetting clients.
However 10,000 shares seems like a very small number - and such a consistent figure also. The only way I can see such a figure coming out is if say a spreadbetting outfit takes payment in shares with a daily charge of say eg 0.1% on a position of 10 Million shares. This is just hypothesis - I have no idea if this is how SB might filter through to the real market so would be delighted if someone else can explain what these figures might correspond to.
