Pat48 - anyone can nick electricity from any supply simply by tapping on before their meter. At least if you run microgrids then they can be locally owned and so if you are nicking you are nicking from your neighbours not some distant company. In that situation that kind of behaviour stops quite quickly.

MadasaHat - yep ever stock that was on AIM50 or has now been included in AIM50 or AIM50 reserve list uses SETS

GlobalData which has a MC of 709M is not elevated to AIM50 despite clearly beating Serica on 319M - the reason is that GlobalData is listed on SETSqx whilst Serica has already upgraded to SETS.

Evidently if we want to be listed in the AIM50 we need to be on SETS - obviously anyone who thinks that we should be doing this should let the company know this fact. I will also.

UKSteveg - I see that globaldata are currently on SETSqx, like us, whilst serica are on SETS - seems that perhaps SETS is a prerequisite

Endion, don't worry I shall be all over the SETS like a rash. The point about SETS is that there is no longer such preferential treatment applied to the Market Makers so they may feel less inclined to think they can play the price up and down like they have been doing.

Also greater access to the SETS market from territories outside of the UK (as compared with SETSqx which is what we are on now) will not only make it easier to buy shares but it will also mean that anyone who wishes to sell them can more easily do it in the market instead of having to present themselves up trussed and gagged to a market maker who then uses those sells to back their own repeated shorting behaviour.
