It has been known for years that a renewables based energy industry would employ more people than a coal based one - CSIR calculated that to generate the same 100TWh/annum electricity from renewables would employ 31% more people than would be needed to generate the same electrical energy from coal. (36,992 vs 28,182 permanent jobs directly and at suppliers.)

Furthermore the jobs based on renewables generation would very likely have much greater export potential and so lead to organic jobs growth through supply of products and services across southern africa.

Well obviously the uncommitidness of those holders is something of a moot point. If they didn't sell at 38p why should they do so at 37p - hang on a few more weeks and the MMs will be in a bit of a pickle and then may have to double up, spiking it about 40p again.

All these games are only relevant if you've got no idea where the company is going or don't care that you're walking the tightrope before news drops.
