In the UK, transport uses more energy than the whole of the electricity. This works out at roughly 30kWh/day per person for Air transport, 40kWh/day per person for petrol car transport = 70KWh/day - as compared with roughly 45 kWh/day per person of electricity supplied by the grid.

However the internal combustion engine is a relatively poor way of converting the chemical energy in petrol into motion and so the 40kWh/day of petrol energy would only work out at around 15kWh/day of electrical energy ( https://cleantechnica.com/2018/03/10/electric-car-myth-buster-efficiency/ ) if you converted all the cars to electric vehicles - good news that we would not need to double the size of the grid. Roll on electrification of the transport sector.

Headancer - we had 1M buy late yesterday which resulted in more than 450K shares being bought than sold.

Today we had strong evidence of another 600K being bought in the middle of the day, leaving the day's trading balance at 664,000 more Buys than Sells.

It seems like someone is building a position now and according to BeingPatient Cantor appear to have changed their trading behaviour, indicating that they no longer have a tame seller at this price. Furthermore we now have a new Market Maker, Macquarie Capital (Europe) who may be involved in this position building, just as BERB seemed to be involved about 3 months ago.

That's two days in a row where there have been more than 650K more Buys than Sells then

Jonny - it might be that at the time we might need to establish some kind of rider that could be regularly attached to posts that would indicate that these discussions are purely independent exploratory discussions, constitute no legal agreement or understanding to act in concert, etc etc. At that time we might need to get the wording of something like that confirmed by someone like yourself

Jonnymaz - thanks for shedding this light on the discussion of Schemes of arrangement. I suspect that you already know what I am going to ask - what constitutes a concert party ? Would discussion on this board, or on TBP constitute establishment of a concert party ? Potentially what restrictions to discussion would we need to put in place around the time of any hypothetical offer to avoid being classed as a concert part ?

Very interesting eh, it has been noted elsewhere that there is evidence of some significant buying going on in the last couple of days. I think you could say that this reinforces that view.

Jagadish - you might consider becoming a charity benefactor. It seemed to calm down crazeee old Bill gates. Mr Musk could try some of that stuff now and then.

The IDC is the Industrial Development Corporation, presumably of South Africa, so unless you have a plan for dwarves to be used to store energy (potential or kinetic) I suspect that they are unlikely to entertain you, trainers or no.
