Afc are lucky to have the current market cap IMO. A lot of the hype and LinkedIn stuff your posting is all baked into this. They need to deliver sales and show a pipeline of contracted sales plus have all the testing certification etc done and manufacturing process running like a sewing machine to build momentum here in the valuation sustainably. What im saying is that announcing exactly who it is won't make a substantial or should I say permanent share price move as its already baked in that a big S&P500 partner with us so it's already validated. What difference does it make who it is exactly? Who would you prefer and why?

Hydro-jen. Announcing the partners identity doesn't validate the tech. Indeed John has already said that the tech is validated by them. The delay to announcing who it is was at their request to prevent competitors swooping in. Supposedly. And they will be announced once all the work around price point is agreed. Thats from the horses mouth.

I suspect that announcing who they are will definitely cause an uplift in the SP but it'll be by excited PI's and will inevitably be sold into or John will smartly get a raise away into the hype.

Its all ok saying they'll provide cash, if they do they'll basically be taking a share of our future profits. Personally I don't think they will provide cash, not yet. Will see. Its all opinion at this point until RNS clarifies

Gold likely to remain volatile in the short term, long term likely to rise. Key metric is average gold price over life of the mine. 3000oz or more and we're laughing all the way to the bank. I expect the volatility to affect sentiment only not the fundamentals. We may see temporary share price retracement off the back of sentiment but if Harry gets the deal over the line within 2 weeks that's all that matters.

The situation in Tigray really isnt an issue yet and will affect sentiment only. It should settle down in June after the referendum so again short term retracement based on sentiment only. Doubt well see anything lower than the 1.3p placing price at worse before financing fully signed and we blast off. I plan to add on any weakness over the coming sessions because I truly believe fundamentals are more important than sentiment

Alittlebitmore I dont think its bleak i mean I think the future is bright for AFC, have said as much on many occasions and hence why im still here. I also think we have a fantastic CEO whos been there and done it.

I think my view is reasonable and rooted in the real world. Were developing supposedly industry leading technology and then need to commercialise it and roll it out at scale. Ive been involved with similar in my professional career and ive never not one time seen a project that doesnt have hiccups, delays and cost over runs. Hitting every milestone and coming in under budget etc is the exception, not the rule. There could still be technology risk, regulatory risk, financial risk, certification risk, commercial risk, timescale risk, manufacturing risk and even factor in black swann events etc etc... its how the real world works. Its tricky to navigate and best will in the world its extremely difficult. Even quality people like John understand this.

If you think its going to be seamless and all go straight to plan and no more discounted raises due. Were simply going to meet every deadline sign mega commercial deals, get a load of cash from a partner etc.. all without a hitch then im sorry but best will in the world it just won't happen. John talked of a 5 year plan and that sounded plausible to me. 2026 is about the SP finding a solid base and getting the tech certified and raising enough capitol to push on aggressively in 2027. Thats what I think because I live in the real world.

There will be pops drops and trading ops all throughout this year though of course, fill yer boots I say as you never know, a trade could moon should AFC actually surprise us all and hit all key milestones without a hitch

Commercialisation is what puts us on a solid upward trajectory and thats not a given. 2027 there will be initial evidence that John's turnaround plans are actually working

AFC energy is valued at 135m so a lot of the news there you've quoted as being due such as releasing officially the S&P 500 partner identity is priced in. In my view it is anyway how else do you justify the current market cap?

So from here to add tens or even hundreds of millions of pounds to the valuation sustainably then it needs material sales. Key word is sustainably. There of course will be news that excites PI's and fluff pieces and LINKEDIN posts along the way which cause pops and drops and trading ops. But a sustainable rerate needs banked sales and demonstration of demand and AFC ability to supply that demand.

Its still early right now. 2027 is when this will kick off properly in my view. Im not adding yet as its uncertain where AFC will get the funding from which will be due around mid year and I can't be doing with being on the other end of another major dilution event

Not sure about placing although I have warned in that previously. Problem is that its such a waifer thin margins business with extremely low barrier to entry and the outcome of the strategic review is most likely nobody wants to buy it for anything like the valuations stakeholders are dreaming of.
