Hi JHFH, it is good for Management to be incentivised and aligned with shareholders. The best way for this is through purchases of shares in open market or at least during placings. Being given risk free shares is not the same, especially when they are not tied to any performance targets either as if they vest... well then the BOD just issue more as they have done here.
You claim its being done because the BOD want to profit from the huge imminent buyout but I dont buy that. Assuming SP gets above 800p again then any one who holds them can cash a few in and cite any reason they want... divorce, new home purchase etc and this could cause future unnecessary drag on the SP. Especially if tbings start to go wrong they'll be cashing in and making out like banditos before PI's know whats going on.
Its all a bit.... unsavoury.... and shareholders are rightly angry. Vlad as absolutely no regard for shareholders at all. Let's be frank. Were a nuisance for him yet he bumbles and lurches from one commercial disaster after the next while all people do on here is sing his praises and hammer anyone that dare say anything against him. This wont be his last kick in the nuts for us im sure.
He needs to be stepped aside into CSO role and bring in a market savvy CEO. Let's assume HG-CT-1 does become of interest to BP, do we REALLY want Vlad negotiating the exit price? With his mountain of shares at 800p and that scruffy old CFO guy with not many years left you'd think they'll take a cheap price and run. Screw shareholders.
Other than DLT's appearing during dose escalation and further dilution risks, this is the main concern for me and why I refuse to do anything other than trade this.
