He hasn't stated no fundraise for 18months at all. He has stated the fixed costs and the cash position then divided one by the other. This does not factor in variable costs and new costs such as hiring sales people and further development costs of the cracker, any CAPEX and increase in material costs due to precious metals price increases etc etc...

And he would be as daft as you if he waited until the company were completely out of cash before raising. Most likely and prudently will be done with at least 1 year cash runway.

It would be better to do it with a strong order book but will we have that and actual sales to PROVE the demand and the fact we can supply BEFORE the next cash call? I am doubtful. Seriously doubtful but I think critically and analyse everything rather than just dividing cash position by fixed cost burn rate and determining the company doesnt need to raise for 18 months...

A rebrand is definitely on the cards. John himself said requesting this was like pushing against a open door. Is it significant material news though, news which deserves a strong valuation re-rate? Or is it a trading opportunity to sucker retail in and sell into the hype?

I suggest the material news needed i.e. sales won't be until Q4 at the earliest and so caution is advised. I think AFC may do a fundraise at a discount off the back of one of these pops causes by over excitable retail

I think 1st human dosing of 6103 is pretty significant, as will be early data for this reviewed under NDA. Very VERY quickly avacta and partners will know if this is working as intended.

Also I genuine think the conferences like AACR will attract a lot more interest and actual buying now unlike previously and this is given the overwhelming positive data and gargantuan opportunity coming into focus (500molecules).

I also think we'll get some approvals from the FDA such as ODD and even breakthrough designation.

Then their is data for STS & SGC which i think will come before breast cancer data which itself will be kept until June to prevent initiation of CLN paymen with STS & SGC data coming before hand almost drip feeding to market as data matures and is ready. These of course will lead to partnerships.

Then also I think we realistically could start seeing some instituonal buying and TR1's

So with regards to newsflow it all depends what you think is significant. For me the above all fit into the significance category and avacta are keeping a tight ship nowadays. Don't expect any advanced warning of what and when those red dots will land. Trading at this point really is playing red dot roulet

I think these conferences at this stage will start to have a , material affect in the valuation. We just have so much data now and the possibility of mastering exetecan is mouth watering. Its so close and, from the looks of this, 6103 is just the start. Can we start dreaming of £50bn valuations again...?

Its not like exetecan hasn't been in human before tho. There will be a good idea what level to dose at so as to not encounter any severe side effects.

If we can concentrate the drug in the tumour at anything remotely like we can in animals then we could easily see some excellent efficacy early doors. Not to long for Avacta to find out

Plenty of share price moving catalysts between now and then. You sit on the sidelines if thats what you believe. Personally ill be in the thick of us as I think things going to move really fast over the next few months

This just appeared on my screener and It looks like stock heading to around 10p with sell off on high volume.

Don't know this company at all and dont want to worry people but looking at the chart im seeing a 10p placing inbound. Don't see any RNS's yet though. Be careful guys n gals seen this one to many times before and now try to warn retail before it happens after being caught on the wrong side multiple times myself. Good luck

Agree. Suspect we hear of dosing soon not too mention maybe breakthrough designation for 6k. Then their is the all important breast cancer data and any deals/partnerships that follow.

Have to expect that at this stage of the process these conferences now are going to lead to some significant interest and positioning by hedge funds and biotech experts

Wonder if their will be, new data shared by Chris and Brian tomorrow. We are getting a copy of the presentation uploaded to the website also so looking forward, to seeing that. I wouldn't be surprised to learn dosing has started either

CN I think you should be asking why the stock price has fallen below the 200dma and what SIGNIFICANT & material news is due over the coming weeks and months to see this rebound.

Last thing needed is a weak as s share price going into August when they'll be looking to do a fundraise. What sees investors pile in here out of FOMO as opposed to say a precious metals miner with new mine coming online or an oncology company announcing it's hotly anticipated clinical data?

178p is where i would target as that would close the gap on the chart. Looks like that is what is in progress.

I think he's probably a decent guy like most just trying to better himself earna few quid but he has fallen in love with AFC that is clear. He has absolutely zero critical thinking skills and I think hes also really naive.

Think we all agree John Wilson is a credible CEO

Think we all also believe the long term potential for AFC is significant

But it won't be easy or straightforward and the current valuation is frighteningly high. John did a great job getting the last placing away at 10p. I dont think people really give him enough credit for this. It was clear institutions thought 5p was more realistic to begin with and so he needs to deliver ready for the next placing else they won't be so easily convinced.

Lot of work to do here and lot of risk. It simply isnt going to turnaround this year. Tho there will be plenty of pops, drops and trading ops

CN... why would anyone rush to buy these shares instead of say, a gold miner chucking off free cash flow for fun? Plenty of Companies almost sure to go 3-4x this year. Can you say that about AFC?

for me take 3-4x on something else then come back here next year and do same suddenly you have a 9 - 12 bagger rather than eggs all in one basket hoping for this to go 9 - 12x which would need almighty revenue increases. That may happen but definitely not this year so money is effectively DEAD. And running risk of discounted placing despite you trying to say it isnt a risk. It is. It really is.

End of the day, price action isnt correlating with the hyperbole here. Tells me all I need to know. Did add a little on John's RNS about accelerating revenue just glad I didnt go big and won't do until MATERIAL sales are in the accounts. Don't see that being until 2027 at the earliest. And it may not actually happen its by far from guaranteed.

Youre so right CN. The market wiping off 25% of the market cap following the update have it all wrong.

AFC are going to do £6m in revenue probably be profitable all ahead of schedule and dominate the global generator market by next year. Right.
