This share has lost 99% of its value but will of course continue to be traded until its suspended. Some days the price will rise and I daresay that presents opportunities for savvy traders but for dear old LTHs nothing has changed. For context Amigo are up 27% today and there are plenty of posters on that forum saying its all a big con and the firm isn't really going bust etc etc. I'm afraid the stark reality is that as you've been repeatedly told existing shareholders are to get little or nothing.
Maidit, I've noticed you frequently post intriguing questions such as "could they be hiding good news?" Alas, the answer to this and all your other rather optimistic questions is - err, no probably not.
Maidit, why do you think a writers strike should hold up proceedings?
You topped up here yesterday! Tell me what is your exit strategy, if the opportunity presents itself would you sell at 1.5p or hold tight and wait for more?
Maidit I don't know how much money you have invested in Cine but at least it has given you something to post about as well as providing some entertainment, drama and suspense. I would urge you to take some time out to scroll back through your posts on Cine and then reflect on your outpourings.
Juno, when the time comes please let me know which cinema you are going to stand outside.
Dead right Roxy mate buy high and then rather than sell low just keep the faith and watch the sp lose 99% of its value. Remember its really only a paper loss until you execute the sale. You and Maidit have clearly got the game sussed.
I hope you're right but not sure the chart is all it seems as we've seen surprising closing spikes before and then when the market re-opens its like it never happened.
Poorinvestor, you evidently believe that posts on this board can influence the share price. Total fantasy, it really doesn't matter what a small number of private investors do or say. All this business about shorters is rubbish too. The only reason people frequent these boards is either because, like Hexham, they have invested in the company or, like me, they enjoy wallowing in the misery of others. People have suggested that I should take a visit to a cancer ward but I think I would find that too distressing so for now I just alternate between here and the amigo loans board. Anyway I don't want you to think I'm a shorter so will conclude by urging you to top up again at these amazingly low prices. Wouldn't want to be out of this one over the weekend!
Maidit, I don't know how many times you need to be told this but the shares will keep getting traded right up until the moment they get suspended . The so called heavy buying you report is of no significance.
According to maidit "Cineworld is a mostly UK base CO, and i suppose that's
why they file C11 in USA where they can get away with fancy clauses for money,
this harsh treatment of shareholders with there legitimate claim
would never be tolerated in this country or Europe". Factually inaccurate nonsense from start to finish.
"What I said was, most Cineworld cinemas are anchors to large retail outlets, there is no way government will allow huge anchor outlets to get closed just before Xmas, hundreds of businesses rely on their footfall to stay alive". Utter rubbish, government hasn't nothing do with this and big retail outlets close/re-open all the time. Poorinvestor, you really are a clown.
maidit, If you really believe even half of what you post on here then you are truely a proper muppet. Anyway lets not be negative surely this is a great time to top up?
"As there is just no reason that i can see for this RNS". I'm quite certain that's true maidit but then again I'm not sure you've ever been able to grasp why the share price is down 99%.
I've invested in this one and it looks like I've picked another turkey! Still as long as they keep paying a dividend I should eventually make it back into break even territory.
I love all the optimism on here, I think you're even managing to outdo the posters on the Amigo Loans forum. You're absolutely right all these RNSs about shareholders being wiped out is obviously just a ploy to scare people into selling their shares on the cheap , no other explanation makes sense. The 99% drop in share value is actually providing us with a great opportunity to average down (kerching). My advice is to seize this once in a lifetime opportunity, cash in your pensions and buy buy buy. My one concern is that haven't heard anything from IMulhare recently about the sorry plight of shorters but on the other hand I went to the pictures last night and it was really quite busy so it should all work out well in the end. In Mooky we trust. Wouldn't want to be out of this one over the weekend.
Boltonboy, Its not so unusual as you might think for examples Sshares are still being traded on Amigo Loans and will be until they are suspended. Incidentally if you read their board you will find lots of optimistic posts despite the company having already announced that shareholders have lost everything.
SP is a massive 40% down over last 5 yrs so its just as well this share is starting to show its defensive qualities - otherwise we might be in real trouble.
Can't for the life of me understand why anyone would experience any difficulty in averaging down, seems to me its a task that gets easier with every passing day.
Even if cinema attendances go from strength to strength I am struggling to see what difference that will make for shareholders in this entity. Cine has way too much debt to be saved by an uptick in box office revenues.
