It is a U-turn on holding on to the Melody brand, as they intended (in the AD) to phase it out as soon as the new app was ready.
Maybe there is a reason for that. The JGO partnership? Again, silence on this. Although if they have been working on it, it is best kept under the radar until they are ready to go.

Interesting that a take out was mentioned - for the first time that I can recall. It almost looks like AM was inviting the question. You can almost see Equitory in the background, armed with a thick M & A file.

Melody/Napster secured a second tranche of funding from N & G, who significantly, were happy to give it.
Apparently they asked for a top-up so they could hurry-up the development of the new app - maybe September rather than Q4.
But maybe it is also their intention to stuff it full of content that we have not even thought about it. They are always good with surprises. Good link.

My holding and average are almost identical to yours.
When you are no longer under water - in money terms it's about 1.6p - you may start to feel more bullish.
At that point you could still set a stop-loss if you wish.

You've never been enthusiastic about this share/company - at least not in the 15 months I've been posting on here.

Things don't just magic themselves. You start with the foundations and build it up. And if bad weather (Covid) comes along, it'll add fourteen months (and counting) to the timeframe.

AM said three years ago he was looking at another 3-5 years to develop this. And that was before Covid, JGO, and Napster were even part of Melody's vocabulary.
Now, the first of those is about to die like a weed, and the other two flourish in the rose garden !!

Equity sooner than debt most days of the week. Not that I ever liked the CLN route. But we obviously didn't have much choice.
Even in the days when credit is still relatively cheap, rolling it over can prove otherwise. Personally I'll be a lot happier when this particular agreement is out of the way. But if N & G remain significant shareholders, that will demonstrate a huge show of support.

Don't like the idea of too many players in the game, but MVR/NAPS do still have two USPs . 1. Their audio/visual app - everyone else is either doing one or the other . 2. Broadway musicals - let's hope they have been working with JGO behind the scenes to hit the world come the Autumn.

I'm probably the least tech-savvy on this board, but IMO would it not make sense to integrate Broadway into the app. Surely to do it separately would be more expensive and time-consuming.
The gigs and the musicals are both expected to re-start in September, which would support this.

Cuomo has given Broadway the green light for May 19.
Obviously with a September start they won't be ready straightaway, but JGO and others will be expected to start work in preparation, and their furlough money will stop.
I think we can reasonably expect to hear from JGO not too long after May 19.

This company can be infuriating, but there was never any doubt - IMO- they would succeed.
They still have around 80 per cent of their original holding, which speaks for itself.

And I agree, I think Broadway is potentially our 'Jewel in the Crown '.
He can put 3 inches of icing on our share cake - the icing is the best bit !
