And we do have Equitory now. This is just the sort of situation for them to get involved in.

It is a slight niggle that nothing is getting a mention, but probably Melody are fully occupied Napster, so to speak.
What's more JGO are not working because they are not able to, even to the point their website is not getting updated.

He retains his holding of 120 million shares. The question is, what is he likely to do with his outstanding options?
Presumably he will exercise them if the SP reaches 15.3p by the end of the year !
We will have to wait and see.

From what they've said Mr H, they intend to phase it out altogether when the new app is ready.
And if they can incorporate it into the new app, it will simpler with everything 'under one roof'.

TBH, not sure how they'll work the app. Whatever, they'll need to be ready when Broadway is. That shouldn't be a problem because Broadway isn't likely to get the green light before September. And then the shows, the dates, rehearsals and everything else have to be planned. Broadway is unlikely to be it's old self much before 2022 anyway. IMO. But that's only 8 months away.

Absolutely it scuppered 2020. First mover advantage and USP negated.
We had stolen a march, but Covid just provided the time and space for others to 'look at Melody's engineering' and copy it.

But we have two other USPs waiting in the wings.
1. A hybrid service - everyone else either does on or the other.
2. The Broadway musicals. It's just as well JGO have had to stay quiet - they can't do any work, otherwise it's end of furlough money. But hopefully Melody and JGO have been completing the foundations - under the radar.

Equitory look to be four-square behind this. Maybe in response to investors' contact.

Having already brokered the N & G deal, further involvement from them should be interesting.
M & A could be on the cards. 2022 will be the first full year of activity, so maybe in 2023.

It barely scratches the surface. And there will be other partnerships LN enters into.

With the forthcoming app and Broadway likely to re-start in Q3/Q4, Melody/Napster will have plenty to keep themselves occupied.

They wouldn't be stumping up another £1.5 m unless they were happy their first tranche wasn't going to get lost in the ether. A vote of confidence.

In actual fact there is only 3 months between the end of Q2 and the beginning of Q4. It doesn't sound so long when you put it that way. What goes around comes along, in fact.

With regard to LN, JGO, Spotify, Facebook and Napster themselves He might do well to consider the 'endless' syndrome.
In other words, nothing is endless, or at least, nearly nothing.

It makes no difference what LTHs want to see, they will eventually see it anyway because VR technology is being developed and re-developed.

The AD did after all contain a lot of info. But then, ADs usually do.

We then come to the long tail/tale philosophy.
The tail of the dog doesn't wag the alligator.
But the dog doesn't know that. The alligator does.
This is worth bearing in mind when considering the long term. In the case of a century, obviously 100 years.
But in the case of a recording contract it's harder to estimate. My guess anything between 6 days and eight and a half years.
It's just a small point, but important when you are trying to make assumptions like he is.
But not to worry. It's not an exact science.

Napster will continue and so will MVR in such a capacity that will make any other approach virtually unnecessary.
For example, you will catch the train that is about to leave the station rather than the one that is still waiting for the driver. Otherwise you could be on the station all day. That is not a croix de colere, you have to agree.

What is phenomenal is the rate at which it could upscale which could be as much as 67 timers the original outlay. It's fairly easy to calculate, especially on an annual basis.

You have to ask yourself, especially if you're going to say that, 'What about Tidal, Veeps, Next VR et al.' The answer is self-.

You name Eton Musk. I'm not entirely sure why, you need to clarify. But even if he did as you say there is always ther is always the next generation of headsets and smartphones and apps to consider. Can you imagine what realms tech will have reached by 2073 ?

Investors (not necessarily LTHs) will have taken this into account. Maybe not all of them but probably most. And Ticketmaster and LN will have had their PR department working overtime to ensure that it works. Otherwise Covid might as well stay around forever and we will never be free of it.

The BoD have had to consider all the above. It remains to be seen who will. But it's a case of 'quo pradis veo' i think you'll have to agree.

Melody had to get more cash ASAP, and the CLN was the result. Clearly it 's done more harm than good to the SP but It looked like a 'take it or leave it' situation.
What's done is done and there is no point in dwelling on it.

I think life is more interesting by thinking about Equitory, and their future involvement. Something which I find intriging, especially as they list M & A amongst their activities. Do they intend to prime Napster up for something?

I can't think that Equitory would allow N & G to do us harm. It would be tantamount to professional negligence . IMO.
CLN may not have been ideal, but they are working for the benefit of both parties.

Equitory/Clara Melia will have been all over the facts, figures, and spreadsheets that we are not privy to, and would have reached a favourable conclusion. Otherwise they would not have recommended N & G to invest.

Their involvement is unlikely to end here. It's interesting M & G is also part of their work.

It's what I thought (and said) all along. Clara Melia and N & G are 'very good friends' and there was never much doubt that Equitory was behind this.

2.006 is 'Mates Rates' but the fact that they ARE investing is a plus.
And Clara Melia will very much have N & G's interests at heart. Between them they see this as worth investing in.

Their business involves bringing investors to their clients . Be it on the sell-side, the buy-side or M & A.

They have to be here for a reason and IMO were involved in the Nice and Green business. (No comment)

But they can't have been hired just to do that.
