....so just to remind ourselves, given the most appropriate title of this thread, Martin Hughes appears to still trust Oisin Fanning : his fund has over 326m shares or 71.59% of the company. I guess Jite Okoloko likewise, as he has acquired just shy of 60m shares in San Leon ( or 13% of the company ) over the last year or so ( unless Harvard have changed their business course since i last looked, it would be unusual even by Nigerian standards to buy 13% of a quoted company you thought was rubbish. And Oisin himself now has nearly 9.5m shares (or just over 2% of San Leon) having just bought another 270,000 recently, so i think we can assume he rates himself to get the job done. So that just leaves us with our very own Junkie and his dubious pals here and on other boards, who don't agree with Martin, Jite and Oisin about Oisin: and they have precisely zero shares in San Leon (or in other words 0% of the company). Notwithstanding this apparent lack of any financial interest in the company - (if they're not telling the truth about that, what they're doing here means it's likely they will need legal advice sooner than later, so purely from a professional perspective , i am keeping a bit of an eye on that one) - they claim to be global authorities on San Leon, the intricate goings on of the NIger Delta, Nigerian Law and proceedings in the Nigerian Courts ( incuding the likely winners of said proceedings), when the Nigerian Authorities grant licence extensions, the financial status of private Nigerian companies etc etc... and care so much about, so they say, the parlous state of everyone and everything in the Niger Delta, that they post endlessly on these boards about it. And they lead us to believe they do all this out of the kindness of their hearts, without any financial reward or motivation of any kind, just to warn seemingly unwary investors against the evils of investing in an undervalued company chaired by the former head of Shell Nigeria. The only problem is , ever so slightly over the last year or so , they have been wrong ( flat earth wrong) about everything including most importantly the SP. So the point I'm getting to is that, when it comes to the remake of Snow White, I think we all know who's going to be playing the dwarves round here.

sorry but you've got it completely the wrong way round O&W. they publically announced their 2019 target for the new export facility as end 2019. if there were any substantive change to that, they would need to issue an rns as soon as.

Qf - beware being drawn into this dissembling by the trolls. the out to tender date is now wholly irrelevant to the progress of this most valuable project for OML 18 . as of (I think)about march this year, when I spoke to a shareholder who had attended the London roadshow, there was no change to the info already given out by the company viz. that Eroton were targeting end 2019 for completion. so that is my present understanding and i see no reason whatsoever to condition that perception, unless and until we get further official announcements from the company. there is self evidently sotto voce in play regarding project progress, very understandably given security issues and that explains lack of formal update and the reticence shown by Eroton's md in discussing it, so close now to its fruition. others as you see choose to have it differently but they have their agendas, which are very different to those of shareholders. and judging by the noise and effort expended by them over the last few days on this subject, they are now mightily worried by it. the end of pipeline losses in OML18 signals a new era - just do the maths, they're quite incredible.

Eroton's md gave a a balanced and candid review of the present status of things. think the problem may be that the pea-brained fraternity on this board believe that pipeline losses are actually news. i take heart from the knowledge that our board of directors are evidently not similarly cerebrally challenged and have taken steps to eradicate the losses. now that is news and we are going to be hearing more on all this soon.

really nothing for you to worry about, BS, just rest assured that it's happening and will resolve at a stroke the pipeline losses. ( understanding project financing of engineering infrastructure requires higher brain functionality, although it's actually not rocket science - clue : it has something to do with income streams). and why so much background noise today from all you trolls on the new export facility? i guess you now realise the end of pipeline losses is your final nightmare here. still you can dream what might have been if only Avobone, the licence renewal, failure of the quarterly payments and Sun Trust had done for us, as you all predicted. what a shame eh.

i don't know if you go on the Advfn board at all, TimB, but we were discussing historyjunkie's multiple personality disorder. i only raise this as I was struck today by his publishing of redundant production news for our interest in OML18. it seemed strangely at odds with his repeated nonsense that we aren't a producer. i guess the neuro surgeons would tell us this kind of random inconsistency is just a sad symptom of his frightening affliction.

i'm not quite sure you get it CJ, so i will spell it out in words of one syllable. when you say you've not ever held any interest in this company and have over 4 years posted a vitriolic campaign against it, it is not only deeply weird, it is fundamentally and prima facie suspicious. in other words it is on the face of things classic troll behaviour on public media. none believe your 'academic interest' dissembling, as it's frankly just not credible and not least because you're just not an academic kind of guy. by all means keep digging your hole if you choose but, if you hadn't noticed, it's getting deeper. it's embarrassing to have to put you straight in such mordant terms and i know i've now used a few more syllables than i intended and even some Latin, but that's how it is.

just picking up on the pipeline completion point again, as this is the single biggest piece of news on our immediate horizon. the reason of course is that it will effectively eradicate at a stroke current pipeline losses. with the well workover/ drilling programme now under way and in fact, as we have seen, already delivering production, this news could not be more timely. it will likely deliver first oilfield revenues to the partners and this at a time still ahead of final repayment of the loan notes. given the ambitious programme of drilling ahead into new reservoirs to take production north of 100,000 bopd, it is difficult to see how the massively discounted value of our asset can be maintained for too much longer now. the company has stated clearly that the target for the export facility (pipeline etc.) is end 2019. i see no reason to doubt this, notwithstanding the absence of any further recent update and in fact partly because of that. there will be a number of reasons why eroton would not want to overly publicise it at this stage now so close to finalisation, not least security. and one imagines that, given the excellent relationship that we enjoy with our Nigerian partners, we would be respectful of that. as an E&P company we are presently valued as an explorer. the fact that we are in fact a producer and with an interest in a world class oil field will soon dawn on the market, by which time i suspect it will be too late to get in at these value levels. one can only imagine that is why Oisin has moved again now and why Jite has taken Midwestern's holding to over 13% of San Leon. San Leon is now awash in cash with all major risks behind it. i say they know what they are doing. both are highly educated, ambitious and market savvy people. members of my family and i are following their lead.

both PVR and Lansdowne up around 25% on this news today. we just have to sit and watch the value of this non core asset to us. news on all fronts for san leon now is positive. and more to come this year with new pipeline in OML18 and the prospect of oilfield revenues for the first time.
