Well I have always said praise the board when praise is due and challenge them they make mistakes.....

Now we know the real reason for the after hours RNS stating the schedule and changed, but everything is going to plan. It was to protect the placing price after the SP dropped 7% and not for the benefit of us PIs.....sigh.

I do remember folk saying no big deal for the Christmas shut down.....I wonder what they are saying now?!?!

Lets see if we can offset this headache with some good news over the coming days from Brockham. There are 3 highlights for us to achieve:

1. Run and set Bridge plug
2. Run test string and set packer
3. After a brief hiatus.....get good flow rates

DoneK - That is correct...think of a submarine taking on water and closing one of the water tight door...the pressure is higher behind the door in comparison to the room you're in.

Scallywag - in fairness Olleh remark is in response to JA51 which I'm sure you can't see his posts.

I.O.N Cannon - I'm not sure what you mean by delays?.....Read the Angus Presentation. They will not order equipment until the test string packer has been set (otherwise you can't do the test).

We have been afforded a detailed timeline and even if it takes 20 days to order and rig up the equipment that brings us close to start of June. Then you require a minimum period of flow rates to achieve firm rates to release to the market.

I dont know why some folk are being so negative and impatient. That has always been the schedule.

I would say due to the profile / angle of the well that the water zone is at the very bottom of the perforations (deepest part of the well), as that tends to be the case as Oil and Gas is lighter than water. In simplistic terms all you need to do is run a bridge plug and squeeze some cement.

You don't run your liner to the very bottom (normally 15ft above the TD depth), so I would say with regards to the 200m of perforations, you would only lose circa 5-10m.

RealAnaylst - he is saying "Flow test results"...you need to flow the well for a certain amount of time before you can have firm figures to realise to the market.

Angus have a total of 30 days for ordering and rigging up the well test equipment before even opening.....wait for it folks....the taps lol

I told folk back at the start of February that they needed patience...

Chas PB - that is correct and there will also be a public consolation with regards to WSCC. Fortunately we don't have to deal with SCC as UKOG are currently suffering with.

RealAnalyst - your statement T"esting equipment has already been mobilised and is on its way to Brockham . .." has no substance and doesn't even fit in with the Angus Timeline.

What does the Brockham presentation and RNS say regarding at which point equipment will be called off?

Number 6 - I think the RNS would have a bigger impact first thing Tuesday morning....but if its positive news then who cares lol

DoneK - yes it is. Big highlight is the running and positive setting confirmation of the bridge plug, water isolated and the test string started to be run.

market magic - I didn't realise Angus had submitted all the paperwork for Balcombe, had it reviewed by OGA / EA and WSCC and given the green light.....

I would say last quarter of 2019 for testing at Balcombe, which is still a fantastic feat if we achieve that as thats the jewel in the crown for Angus.

Barndoors - it's amazing who posts at the weekend. I do feel sorry for Admin for having to read all these posts.

Scallywag - BRXZ follows the mother bore well (which was a highly deviated well in itself) and then the sidetrack was initiated at a hole angle of 74 degrees (meaning the motherbore well was at 74 degrees when the side track well branched off it). The sidetrack was initiated at a shallower depth so Angus could evaluate the Portland, Corallian and the Kimmeridge.

Barndoor - thank you for quoting my 74 degrees for sidetrack initiation and you can now quote me again when I say sadly you are wrong again and no this isn't "technical Bullying" its correcting you when you say "It was initiated from the donor well at an angle of 74 degrees. A very different (and, for a side track, necessary) thing."

You can sidetrack a well from a Vertical well....by using a whipstock.

And if you had been following this board from last year then you would have read multiple posts of mine where I say th well is a handle deviated well.....as opposed to you stating Brockham was a Vertical Slant well...whcih again is wrong in every sense. Even somebody studying Petroleum for their Masters would know this...and thats before stepping into an oil company.

Mirasol - if Brokcham had hot an open fracture then you would have seen losses whilst drilling it and that would have alerted Angus.

Being Vertical or horizontal doesn't make any difference...its your drilled TVD depth that is.

Read back through my historical posts where I discuss the likely location of the water zone and why it wasn't picked up by the drilling logs.

Yanis - I know you now appreciate they were old photos posted, so I'll answer the bridge plug part of your post.

The bridge plug needs to be run on tubing or drill pipe with a cross over. We are getting closer to that operation taking place and was the truck delivering joints of tubing (row upon row)? Who knows. Sometimes confirmation bias can get mislead folk.

As I said before the Angus Schedule for calling off Well Test Equipment is after the completions is in the ground and set (no point having expensive equipment on site racking up rental costs while trying to trouble shoot an issue).
