I have to laugh at a lot of the positive posters on here, seems like a lot are locked in on the spike and are putting a good spin on this to get out which won't happen!!. Simple fact is the company has been declining ever since Harriet Green departed. It either needs HG or someone like her with the necessary will to get rid of the rubbish to come in and put it back on a good footing. Unfortunately knowing the board I don't think this will happen as Peter is alien to what is required. Sad demise of a much valued company and as a few have said it is on a parallel with Debenhams as debts far outweigh anything positive. Any rally will be short lived.

"Not as good as other people"??....that why she was named business woman of the year at that time!!! She saved TCG from bankruptcy at the time!!! The only reason she went was because of that episode about a customer problem abroad not because of anything else!! She didn't cause this mess as you said but she could get us out of it!!

I have looked at the figures and £4.50 is my figure based on those. Not to say this won't reach £10.00 but it will take time. Once company had been investigated then investors get wary even though FCA have given the green light.

...looking into this further would tell you that that the placing WAS based on false accounting. The SP is being driven on sentiment at the moment, not many have studied the accounts fully. Based on figures £4.50 should be normal price, those hoping for more will probably have to wait over a year. The company is good and in my view will attract more investors in the long term. Short term only traders. Hold for the medium term.

There is only one person who can do this, maybe as a stop gap because if his age but he could do it, that's George Davies. There is nothing he can't make a success of, take Next, Per Una at M & S and George at Asda to name but three. I don't think JD would consider him but even if he doesn't he could well seek his advice.

The link you quoted doesn't say who is running it, just asking for donations, needs to have more info like where is your money going. Could be another scam?
