I'm an accountant with PWC, I look at figures all day, quite boring but it gives me insight into a lot of firms....looking at TC accounts since 2016 doesn't fill me with confidence, my D4E is based on what I have read. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion as I am, you don't have to agree. What I will say is a lot of posters only base their opinions on little, dig a little deeper and I think you will understand better.

Debt of now 1.3 billion (as it's increased since last review) is increasingly worrying. If the sale is lower than expected then bondholders will not be happy. D4E is the only way to solve this. Yes TC will probably survive but as in the case of Debenhams shareholders will be wiped out. If all the rose tinted posters think otherwise then you are only deluding yourselves, a lot are trying to get out in my view as they bought in at greatly advanced prices.

I see they had to release the rns. How much the northern part of the business will be worth? Looking through the accounts since 2016 I'd say max 400 mill, more likely 350. Airline 300 mill....debt 1.2 billion, so where do they go from there? Concentrating on the hotel business is not fruitful now as customers will have heard about the problems and will be very reluctant to book even though the company has given reassurances. All the rose tinted posters who think they will cash a profit by the SP moving north are deluded. If this was a good deal the sp would have moved closer to 20p straight after the rns release. The market doesn't like uncertainty and that's what it is ...very uncertain!...I retain my view of a strong sell in the present climate.

I think the company has lost a lot of energy recently (sorry for the pun! :).....you really have to be kidding if you think the so will rise in the short term..... there's a lot more gas on here than Yu have got in their coffers.

I never like to say a well respected company in the past is looking at administration but unfortunately tcg is in that era now.Big names don't mean a thing where debt is concerned. Whether the debt can continue to be serviced is debatable, in my view it's backs against the wall time. Look at British Steel!! If it drops under 10p then sure as not it will drop further,can strong sell unless a t/o, Fosun would look for cheapest price, probably 8-10p.

Most people thought Deb's was too good to fail, a lot of people on here think the same, debt is King now, tomorrow will be very nervy!

Hotel revenue?...would you book one of their hotels in the present state if the company?.....A few strong sells tomorrow and it will be floundering. Like Debenhams, in the hand if bond holders or D4e whereby shareholders will be wiped out! I don't like what I am saying but it could become fact, only traders in the short term can turn a profit but if it drops to 7p that will evaporate. Not looking good!

£1.25 billion debt.....1/4 billion revenue or less, no further investment in my view. Ok holidays are ok for the immediate as they are covered but even with airline sell off won't cover what's needed, only matter of time imho, strong sell now, bond holders in charge, d4e which could keep company afloat but wipe out shareholders like Debenhams.

Yes you are right as you have read the RNS, 43% was back in March as I have stats. Still doesn't make for good reading though does it?!!! Would you book your summer holiday this year with them?

As it's my 25th wedding anniversary I have recently booked an all inclusive to Jamaica, I studied quite a few companies for the same hotel and TCG came out 2nd highest, finally booked with TUI which came out £450 cheaper than TCG. Makes you think that. TCG's summer holidays are only 43% fully booked at the moment, is it any wonder?!!!!!!!

...as an adage when a company is in deep trouble they very very rarely think about pi's as in the case of Debenhams which was the biggest travesty in recent years, be warned!!!!!

Molokai, I like you invested a few years ago when the sp was similarly low, the reason I invested then was only because of HG coming in as I knew she had a good track record which proved correct as sp rose significantly. The difference this time is PF hasn't got the necessary will to do that and unfortunately the debt outweighs anything positive. The only thing that can save this company is as before, then I might consider investing, that is a 100/1 shot though.
