Comparing Superdry to JD Sports whose results are out today reads pretty bad for Dunkerton, JD Sports profit for year in the region of £403-433 million...and Superdry?....pretty bad in the extreme!!

Superdry is a been and gone brand now, not the sustainability of a Next or Zara. High street is collapsing at a fast rate and in my opinion a lot of former respected brands. My local branch of Superdry in Guildford was practically empty on Saturday last week as per usual, it's not getting better. Dunkerton may think he can turn it around but as with the likes of other well known stores he has a major job on his hands and he needs an ace in the pack, not sure who though. If the sp drops to 320/350 levels might be worth trading or accumulating.

Although I agree about the pump and dump many uninformed posters thought that the legislation would be passed ad hoc and the sp would rocket somewhat. The fact of the matter is it will take at least six months for all factions to agree as it's not straight forward, this means the sp will be in limbo and there's nothing more upsetting than uncertainty which the market doesn't like. The sp will moot about until the legislation is passed so a constant eye is needed, until then a slam dunk sell if you want to invest elsewhere.

With that spread it's no wonder there's not many trades!

Jim doesn't really bother with day to day ranglings as he is a multi millionaire and can afford to wait years for Webis to come right. Unfortunately many pi's can't afford that option, so until June at least this is a slam dunk sell!
