I would not hold your breath itaone , this company has seen enormous shareholder destruction. Look at how much Howe and co have taken home and the Hampton mining acquisition a few years. Howe is too afraid meeting shareholders, I have given him an opportunity many times. He actually sneaked into the UK last year I found out from a friend, he is not forthcoming and is not CEO material.

Cheers Babbler, all the best with whatever you do, but my advice stay away from this one. It might do well from these levels, but a lot of investors in here have lost money, the CEO is next to useless.

You are missing that this has dropped over the years The board gave away our most prized asset for a pittance. But on a positive, we are still awaiting news of our capital return. Unfortunately when you have been a long term investor in this company you will realise the BOD are incapable of creating wealth for shareholders. Good luck if you have joined in recently

All The below link is a good example of shareholders acting as activists and trying to make change. If you want to make the changrs to this company use your vote, my advice ensure your broker allows you to get voting papers delivered to you get in contact with them immediately and contact our CEO who has been poor. Stay away from this company and it's CEO in my opinion and dealings with the CEO. If you have a CEO who has to sneak into the country and not formally announce a potential meeting shows some light. Also if your CEO thinks no one is happy is delusional. If you want to join the group I have of shareholders feel fee and open to hot copper also, but do not expect much from this until we hear about plans of the dividend that is supposed to be shared soon. Also in the meantime ask Howe, how much did he make selling Hampton onto metminco 😀

All, To update you, I did get a reply but it came from the PR man. Would not confirm If Howe benefitted from The sale of Hampton nor how Howe acquired his initial tranche (majority) of his shares so I leave that to you. Was told the information was available on the site of the transaction but that only provides a limited information. On asking for Howe to step down was told he has the full confidence of the board and his bio is on the website. Had asked about why we have not recovered as compared to the wider market - no response. Was told they would answer only operational questions, which probably does not say much as we have sold the majority of our key asset and bought a crap gold mining outfit that is not "near" term. I leave it all for you to form your own thoughts but a lot of this should not be surprised. My advice to anyone, look at the CEO of a business aswell as the company, a great company with great assets can seriously under perform with a poor CEO which is the case here. And a CEO who is too scared to meet his shareholders but acts like a keyboard warrior. But will say they have replied to my emails and I will remain to be professional and respectful, but I am a shareholder and have been holding for a number of years. I also suggest reasearching the PR company that has been hired they are there to protect the "company" Good luck all we need it.

To put some context he has taken $2.5m out from this company, the accounts show he was a holder of the vast majority of his shares in 2010 but it does not appear that he acquired these but have asked him to clarify. Hampton was sold in stages to metminco with a mixture of shares and cash (look at the 2010 accounts) Howe can be seen to have acquired shares in 2015 and did not participate in prior years. I am more than happy to be corrected but that is from what I can see from the accounts.

Have asked Howe how much he made from selling Hampton a couple of years ago to metminco but funny enough got no reply when his mantra all these years have been the directors are heavily invested here. But in fairness I have also asked him to resign, how long do you allow a CEO to run a company down the ground. The guy needs to go

Sorry hid the press button accidentally I was saying .. I am not so, been here for a number of years and for me it's been a disaster after another. Los Calatos was sold too cheaply and anyone can say that especially with the number of valuation reports we have seen for two scenarios of the mine. Yes conditions are bad but that should have sold for a higher price. Mollacas is unforgivable they spend a lot of money and as they decide to mine they don't have access rights to the land. That is a Royal screw up. Miraflores termed as near term over paid for it in my eyes and no feasibility study has even been done, to be honest for the price an d what stage it is af we overvpsif that and undersold Los c. Howe has been handsomely paid for doing a poor job, I would not insult him just calling a spade a spade. As cheesy and myself and a few others I know, get answers directly from the board no point insulting howe on here but informing people of the past do they are aware is all you can do.

I can vouch for cheesy he is an astute investor and does contact the board, he has more faith in the board as his interaction with them asking the tough questions he buys in. I am not so, t Miraflores we were misled, it is not near term and will take a few years.
