IAG last week said it would be difficult to bid, unless it’s a ploy and they can find a way to satisfy the EU. Perhaps pressure on the EU to allow EU companies to buy and not a partial sale to the yanks would he preferred by Brussels.

Do you know the impact of companies delisting from the FTSE on the uk economy, there is a knock on impact. So if it does happen it has to be at the right price and a premium.

The board have done brilliantly and they are convinced by giving some of the information it should lead to a more reasonable offer.

Ignoring the noise of the Iran war, assume easyJet share price of £4.80 (range of £4.30 to £5.90 last year so could argue at £5.10 ) a premium offer would be 60% of that which is around £7.70

Dont look at it from a trading hat as the share price was suppressed during the Iran war, what is the price to delist and get taken out.

So yes I don’t want it sold unless it’s an offer too good to reject in the current climate and offering £5.60 to start off with is pathetic, it won’t win friends on the board. If they had started at £6 + they may have got a better response earlier on that they are serious but none of the offers until Tuesday was serious enough

Castlelakes Bid was literally taking the p iss, share price went down as Oil was rocketing and caused share weakness. This company is not in financial difficulty, why should they sell if the value is not right? I want a Board who wants maximum value for shareholders, £6.25 is not that.

Why don't people like Kenton, he only came onto the role last year. Johan has a lot to be accountable, during that time, EasyJet had to fund raise to keep liquid, gap between Ryanair and EasyJet widened.

I think you’re right it’s closer to £7, £8 isn’t a stretch but as you and others they could argue why offer that when we haven’t breached £6. But £8 is less than 40% market high last 18 months and tbh if we didn’t have the war we would be closer to £6.

Corporate raiders are buying assets cheap I think a convo will start if they come up to £7 or above that, then they will be taken seriously.

Could sweeten the offer by allowing a one off dividend also.

I don’t think they will buy it personally , they have lowballed with a stupid starting offer.
